Japan is currently missing a proper BR IV semi-automatic rifle, so I would like to suggest the ZH-32 as a possible event weapon.

The ZH-32 was an improved version of the ZH-29 and was exported to China. According to the Military History Institute Prague, 100 ZH-32 rifles were delivered to Mukden in 1933, following an earlier shipment of 35 rifles.

After the Japanese occupation of Manchuria, these weapons could have fallen into Japanese hands. The ZH-29 family was also studied by Japanese authorities, making the ZH-32 particularly fitting for Japan.
I think it would be an excellent BR IV event weapon, either with 10 round or 20 round mag (the weapon was compatible with ZB-26 mags)
Alternatively, it could even be added to the Japanese Tech Tree, since Japan still lacks a proper BR IV semi-auto rifle there.
Rare, historically connected to Japanese-occupied China, and useful for Japan.

There are already plenty of BR4 rifles with 20-round magazines.

Yeah, naturally for tech tree the 10 round would be more fitting.
All things considered, I’d prefer some kind of domestic prototype for the tech tree rather than a rare captured weapon. That’s why I suggest it as Event weapon.
But I don’t really think it’s important. I think suggestions for weapons should primarily be about whether the playerbase even wants to see that specific weapon in the game. As for how it will be balanced and added, I’d leave that up to the developers.
Of course, I’ve put out my opinion on what seems most appropriate to me, but I can’t say that I’m particularly insistent on it.
