Commanders! Due to the rising number of violations of Clause 3.2 of the game’s End User License Agreement, more specifically “3.2.3 - exploit any flaws or bugs in the Game(s)’ mechanics (exploits, bugs, etc.)”, to gain an unfair advantage by abusing experience boosters, we made changes to this mechanic.
Now the total bonus from active boosters is capped at 500%. Once you hit this limit, any additional boosters you receive will be deactivated by default. Inactive boosters can be manually activated once they wouldn’t go over the cap or exceed the manual activation limit.
When the maximum bonus is reached, a notification will pop up that won’t reappear until at least one new booster has been activated.
Active boosters can be easily checked in the hangar next to the “START” button.
Great, but I hope developers can lift the time limit for experience boosters.Restrictions are sufficient to prevent abuse, so experience boosters should be permanently preserved.
boxes stay for 2 weeks plus boosters have about 1 week time before they expire, so you get a total of 3 weeks actually. That is unless boxes stay for shorter or longer period of time than the two weeks.
Still not enough to chew through 200 boosters for most players.
But the solution is simple: less boosters, more worthy rewards!
Honestly it wouldn’t have been bad if could have chosen and exchanged a weapon, but there are so many trashy weapons, and the odds of earn a good weapon are so heinous.
For example, the probability of obtaining one RMN-50 is only 0.0294%.
I think we really need that promised follow-up to Operation “Transparency", major. This whole situation should be handled much better. At the very least, this “fix” to the booster exploit should come yesterday with the ban hammer. Now, it only feels like a panic reaction from the devs and a complete afterthought. Even more, how can we trust this game anymore when devs show they can fix things within a day but still turn a blind eye to legacy bugs like fw190 flight model?
Yes, but we should demand a new benefit: experience boosters that can be permanently saved.
I don’t think it’s reasonable to add more restrictions without providing other benefits to players. Such modifications should be a trade-off.Otherwise, the player’s gaming experience will only get worse and worse.
Can we see corresponding punishment measures based on the severity of the violation?
There is no such content in the current terms, which looks like ‘punishment measures are arbitrarily decided by developers’. This is also why people are dissatisfied with this ban.
I would not expect that to be in there, if you expected me to write about it in that news. Besides, I know it’s not your intention, but you’re essentially asking me to explain to potential would-be-exploiters that might read it about precisely how much they can get away with something. If one player breaks the rules in such a way that renders the game unfair for others (as the situation that resulted in the last 2 news blogs), they should expect retribution (and instead should report it), and not feel they can get away with it.
Again it’s worth saying that those punished were those who exploited this issue heavily, resulting in obscene Silver stockpiles far exceeding what any normal player could ever have been expected to obtain, and therefore using it to obtain sets of equipment again that no player could ever be expected to obtain.
Referring back to this post, showing this is not something we’ve done randomly but stick to the same principle:
