How would someone using that booster exploit make the game unfair for me if I am on the opposing team or on their team? It doesn’t affect me in any way. And even if they can get more guns and upgrade them fully, that’s irrelevant because so can I. The only people who were wronged by this were the company, who lost out on monetizing the grind these players skipped.

A clear standard is important, at least the standard for ‘permanent ban’ needs to be specified.
We certainly know that developers will not ban players who earn 20000 points by repairing tanks. But banning him does not violate the terms of service,This can indeed be called ‘abuse of vulnerabilities’.
Only by clearly indicating the punishment for minor and major violations can players be prevented from exploiting vulnerabilities and developers’ punitive measures be supported.
If there had been a statement here before the ban occurred stating ‘what serious behavior could lead to permanent ban’, then there wouldn’t have been such a strong opposition.
But things have already happened……
I have no idea what the fuss is all about.
However.
It would be really nice to activate the boosters AFTER the game.
E.g. I hate having a booster activated and being sent to low BR Berlin / high BR Stalingrad, forcing me to give up the booster.
Playing alongside T-28 near Reichstag or seeing Su-9 1946 over Univermag goes against my values and I will always leave those matches, regardless if I have a 1000% XP booster or not.
In this regard, activating a booster after the game has finished would be much more convenient.
Doubting if Enlisted is able to make itself through 7 years. Seems like the moderator and devs were pretty confident. Anyway, the fact speaks loud.
idk.
sounds like someone should have thought earlier of that and make so that you wouldn’t get boosters frikin everywhere.
as they say, hate the game, not the players.
inb4, i grinded most of the nations when boosters weren’t a thing so…
didn’t really bothered me.
but all to show, preventable issues that were dragged way longer than should have.
i guess, if only the QAs would have catched tha… oh right.
EDIT: allegedly some people claimed were banned for it.
which i do not know, nor believe.
but if that’s turns out to be the case, that’s beyond effed up.
Additional edit, actually, since it was reiterated as " exploit " and even highlighted… yeah, feel bad for those that didn’t do it intentional. BAM, for someone else oversight, you’re now banned lol…
Oh…
Then boosters should be permanent, because they expire eventually, which is totally ridiculous if you’re on break or you can’t play many games because you have tons of boosters from boxes or something.
This statement is not appropriate. If you explain clearly enough before the ban occurs, they will not be able to evade responsibility. Mild violations=light punishment, serious violations=serious punishment, there is no escape and no excuse.
bad bad, some people didnt on purpose and got banned
There are still many behaviors that interfere with normal gaming. For instance, too many players are abusing the game mechanics. Even in matching battles, they deliberately fight passively, raise their opponents, and deliberately let their opponents gain more points or even win easily. They kept repeating the need for marking, showing no concern for the marked vehicles, and even bombed uninhabited mountains and lands. They use engineers who do not build revival points, and even do not build anything useful in the right place. They were immersed in using any weapon as a sniper, then shooting at the sky and the ground, even without shooting at the opponent’s sniper. They deliberately lead the team to failure, deliberately shoot at teammates, and seize and destroy your setup and vehicles. However, the developers did not impose a permanent ban on their use.
Even if you are a normal player and are forced to join a battle in the middle of a match, you will find that you can quickly rank among the top.
Even if the weapon you use has a lower weight BR than that of your teammates, even if you only use infantry, and even if you sincerely teach them that planes can mark 2 kilometers, engineers can repair rebirth points, and resurrection doesn’t necessarily have to be at a fixed resurrection point in the rear, mark the equipment for them, and they won’t thank you for your efforts and dedication at all. They might even blame you for talking too much, for taking away their points, or for being a cheater.
Now, I would like to ask: According to the rules of the new log, if a player engages in a custom battle with a 500% bonus card, how much benefit will the player gain in one battle before being banned?
If a player engages in such battles multiple times in a row, will the developer ban the player based on their game data over the past few days?
Please give a clear answer.
Otherwise, in the near future, players will not want to see this: because developers believe that some players have once again gained profits beyond their expectations after the second customization change, and they have once again declared the new batch of players who have gained profits through the customization mode & bonus cards as illegal players.
The rules are set by the developers, and players are merely using them.
@MajorMcDonalds
Developers should not make ambiguous boundary judgments based on the subjective ideas of an individual.
Players need to reach an agreement with developers on the objective details of the laws that both parties should abide by, rather than one party acting as an absolute dominant force and arbitrarily changing the boundaries of the legal provisions based on subjective judgment of the other party.
If the developer does not provide the specific details of this question, then in the future, the developer may set a new standard again and select some typical players for permanent bans.
I find it quite pathetic they have choose to limit the boosters which could have been “abused” by waiting to claim BP or silver crates instead of fixing the glitch itself and or if you did why do this?
Prison logic… so let’s name and shame the few members that did it here and scrutinize them like HonkiStairRail(?)… seems reasonable.
yeah sad for the vet-box, was not really needed but is not a big loss.
who the fuck cares if somebody has 100 de-lisle carbines or 100 RMN-50s, the tech tree equipment is more or less always the same or better than what you can grab out of the silver box with 1 or 2 excptions
I am extremely confident in saying even if somebody purchased 1 trillion silver boxes, it would not affect their winrate in any meaningful way.
You’re doing this strictly for monetary reasons due to the fact you can spend gold in order to get silver.
A completely unfounded biased topic, you’re no different from those guys who casually insult others on another topic. Stop and calm down for a while.
as @Jade_Stern said
This is an awful fucking change made purely because the devs cant think how to fix it otherwise, not to mention its a victimless exploit. (Which mind you, not saying people should do, they shouldnt, but to punish everyone for the actions of a few is horrid behaviour.)
At least make it so boosters gotten from silver chests dont expire so you dont just doom people.
Also also, this is just very unfun, it was always funny to see people post their 1600% boosters or etc and get like 500k RP from a match with 25 kills, exaggerated ofc, but yeah, awful change which honestly, feels like one of the worse slaps in the face the devs have given the playerbase this year.
disable XP boosters in custom games with AI players and leave the game alone for the rest of the 99.9% of players
why do you still play this game
Oh dont get me wrong, there is extremely simple solutions here, hence Im so angry, actually having to bite my tongue at Major here, let alone the devs.
I mean hell, all they have to do was do this but for custom games only, its so easy to do, and they refuse, actively making the game worse for everyone for the actions of a mere handful of players in the ocean that we are.
