Ok, but personally I’d firstly fix fixable causes of dessertion (like unbalanced matches, bad maps etc.)
In my case I don’t really see dessertion as a benefit but rather as avoidance of random, unjustified punishment (my ass being kicked by a stack). Now I get punished no matter what I do so the best solution is… to not play? And tbh that’s probably what I’ll do by essentially afking in those matches.
Sorry but I’m not being canon fodder for someone’s entertainment because of some vague “comradery” or “fair play” that doesn’t apply to me apparently. Pointless martyrdom is not my kink.
That’s how you kill the game within a week. I would only play during events and then uninstall game as soon as i’m done with event + BP.
Actually i may not even go back even with new events/bp as i would gain nothing from playing usual matches.
They did absolutely nothing to fix awful matches where one team dominates and you can’t do anything but watch points getting captured one after another, no rallies, no defending points just nothing. And awful maps that filter doesn’t remove from your MM.

OP wants me to play such matches that are lost in the first 4mins.
Ofc my apc got instantly nuked 15secs after i parked it by overpowered enemies while their apc got untouched by anyone but me i died before i even managed to get close and quit that awful match.
Our plane slot was always occupied despite dude not doing anything with it outside of flying around. Enemies had unlimited rallies while we had one plus my apc that died anyway.
So DF fix your shit there are zero point in playing those awful matches.

And there was another match which was completely unplayable for enemy team. Do you think it’s a fun experience for them?
Enlisted in 2025 = always get stomped or stomp enemy team there is nothing in between those two

Well i did with campaigns but now game is either too hard or too easy. Where are even matches? Nowhere to be seen.

Even with campaigns it wasn’t fair. Like infamous tunesia.
Majority of enlisted matches have always been some kind of steamroll. (Or at least it feels like it’s majority, probably not and it’s just negative bias.)

Nah, the one-sided Tunisia Allies steamroll was fun and fair and challenging and the other bingo words. People couldn’t stop playing Axis.

Tunisia was a big outliner not really played by one nation depending on region so it was bot farm. Normandy, Moscow and Berlin were way more playable than they are now. Pacific was always awful and still are for Americans with JP mains dominating matches since release of that set of map so nothing have changed in many years.
I wouldn’t say so. It was kind of seasonal, basically a pendulum swinging from one side to another. Difference was that you could always switch campaign to maybe find more favourable conditions (change pendulum). Now you can’t do that as it’s all one MM.
At least that’s my hypothesis.

Deserter is acting like there are no even matches when he deserts literally every match in which his team doesn’t have obvious upper hand.

I think it would be better to just add some bonus on if you are staying for the whole game when you are getting absolutely trashed by the other side. Or just use the WT style that it just dont let you look for a new game for 4-5minutes. Maybe penalize the round which you quited.
Handing out a -20% Penalty for the next 2 game with a 7Day expire will just push you to play some other game and not this in the next 7 days.

that conquest mode is so bad in this map when your team mates just sit in those buildings while the enemy can shoot into point A and B without dying for half the match
