Change the deserter penalty

Because you are clearly the average Enlisted player?

well yes.

sure, not everyone might have more than 3 or 4 slots.

but you don’t need more the same amount of slots that i do have.
( id still argue 1 or 2 should be added for silver or free though )

also, just because i have been playing for the last 5 years, that doesn’t make me good or pro?

I’d like to play with my friends but all of them consider enlisted to be too shit to play.
And I don’t care about some random strangers from discord.

Because solution to every problem is a hammer. I’ll suggest you this solution next time you complain about something.

fair enough.

but you can’t just stay in the same place and complain while doing nothing when you have the options at the tip of your finger.

not always, but you have to with selfish people.

i’ll keep it in mind when i’ll ask for better mods tools or better customization.

not sure it will work though.

Sure, the average Enlisted players…

  • does not use ahistorical (bolt action) rifles in high br.
  • does not have more than four slots.
  • does not have so muh gold.
  • doesnt play since 2020.
  • does not hang around in custom matches.

But other than that, what have the Romans ever done for us?

Unlike all those non-selfish ppl forcing me to waste my free time on boring steamrolls because maybe Jesus himself will join my team and carry it to the victory (nothing else will work imo).

i was more saying averange in skill.
and technically equipment.

i don’t have many prems.

so i don’t see what that has to do with the fact that i’m not better.
if not slighty similar with more unoptimal toys to play with.

and i can bet they WILL hange around custom matches once the TT has been fully grinded.

so i feel like you’re just trying to attack any point and hope they will stick.

idk

Which translates well with the first point because as we know BA rifles require low skill/ effort.

agree to disagree.

but no one will stay around if no one is punished for leaving.

yes?

you point the stick to the enemy, fire and they die.

do any weapons work differently ?

I don’t agree to disagree. A random bypasser being pit in a 1vs1 boxing match against Mark Tyson doesn’t have any obligation to stick to the end.

that’s why this game is NOT a 1v1.

and with current penalties, you are not forced to stay.

but there will be consequences.
simple as.

So 10 randoms Vs 10 Mark Tysons. Because apparently a metaphor needs to be exact.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t forcing ppl to stay your goal here?

i would like to remind you that Mark Tysons still lost 7 times.

no.

i have kinda no goals.

i’m just saying that people leave are a major cause of many issues.

which you are free to leave at any time.
but that will not go unpunished ( or should not ).

because the other 9 folks didn’t asked for 1 singular individual selfishness.
which often spirals from 1 to 6-7 sometimes.

when you have an issue, you try to fix it to the root.

maps and others are just nitpicks and personal exscuses to justify their own wrong doings.

people refusing to play for a match or few a map that they do not like is the root of the problem.

even worse, those who refuse to play any other map than a specific one.

  1. Out of?
  2. Against randoms from the street?

This explains you suggesting locking squads.
(Unless it wasn’t you, then I’m sorry for confusion.)

Ah yes, because as always complex issues can be solved by simply bullying ppl I don’t like.

Also it’s funny to say you try to address the root of a problem while ignoring it and blaming EVERYTHING on selfishness. Because no reason is good enough to not do as I want.

50-7

you still have a % which it’s not 0.

you don’t know, and cannot know if you don’t at least try.

it’s not bullying?

if you commit something wrong, usually there are consequences.
that’s just how life works.

because IT IS the main root of the problem.

you or anyone not being able to be bothered for a single match or two in a map that you do not like, or leaving any other match that is not your favorite comfort zone IS selfishness.

you leaving bad teams but being fine when the enemy has bad team IS SELFISHNESS.

you leaving as soon others leaves while leaving those who remains in the match IS ALSO SELFISHNESS.

conclusion, the root of the cause is selfishness.
which it’s fine, you can leave at an time. but don’t expect for NO consequences.

but i made my self clear and those who generally think in favor for penalties.

if you play games just to leave them, then you are a tourist.

alright.

then i’ll kiss my own :peach:

  • i never leave matches

  • i never leave randoms

  • i don’t team up ( unless rare occasions )

  • i play all maps and have 0 preferences

  • still uses HA loadouts

but you don’t have to thank me.

" jokes " aside.

thank you for coming to my ted talk.
but i made my self clear.

with that being said,
catch you all over custom matches i guess.

Then I guess to not be selfish I’ll continue building sandcastles as far away from the point as possible. Better than desserting.

The main root of desertion is that it is being beneficial. That’s why punishments are definitely needed. To make it not beneficial.

As Erika said, everything else are just excuses and attempts from deserters to not lose their comfort.

They don’t want this game to be healthy or fixed. That’s why they’re selfish.

Similar penalties exists in most other games with similarly concepted MM. It was fault to not have since day one. Now people get used to bypass the system unpunished. Which si truly bizarre.

Exploitation of the game is against TOS, so there could always be harder punishments. :man_shrugging:

Other games also have better MM and map filters.
But I guess we are picky.
