Since the last fire rate buff to the M1 Carbine, you know, those 15 rounds run out very easily. Its magazine capacity and 8.8 damage are enough to limit its strength, so please increase its reserve ammo.

By the way, I’ve actually always wanted a 30-round M1A1 Carbine at BR3

This is practical and makes sense, which is why the Dev’s will never do it. :expressionless:
Give an M1 Carbine a 30 round magazine with at least the 8.8 damage level of
the M2 Carbine and it would be a decent BR3 semi.
What if M1 Carbine BR3

The 30 round magazine had issues loading into original M1 carbines due to the weight of the extra bullets I believe. They had to make modifications on the M2 to improve reliability

Not like that matters in any significant way for Enlisted.

And for example, Bayonet for FG42 was practically unusable (based on what gun Jesus said in his videos). Yet many people are arguing for make it work in Enlisted.

I’m aware, I’m not saying “don’t do this idea” but I’m offering my thoughts as to why maybe this hasn’t been done yet

30-round magazines for the M1 carbine existed and were used in World War II, but primarily in the latter stages of the war, and they were standard for the automatic version of the carbine.
Key Facts:
Introduction: 30-round split-barrel magazines (often called “banana” magazines due to their curved shape) were developed alongside the M2 carbine, which was adopted in October 1944.
Interchangeability: 30-round magazines were compatible with standard M1 carbine semi-automatics, which were produced earlier.
