Change the Axis scout cars ammunition amount

Hello comrades!

I will make it short. Allied tech tree scout cars have 250 rounds of ammunition, compared to the pathetic 50 and 25 round magazines used by the axis tech tree scout cars. They need to be more equal.

Germany:
MG-34 with Patronentrommel (75 rounds)

MG-34 with ammo box (250 rounds)

Japan:
Replace type 11 (25 rounds) with TE-4 (69 rounds)

What do you think is the perfect solution to balance all tech tree scout cars?

Keep in mind that allied scout cars have a 250 rounds ammunition box.

  • Germany: MG-34 with Patronentrommel (75 rounds)
  • Germany: MG-34 with ammo box (250 rounds)
  • Japan: TE-4 MG (69 rounds)
  • Japan: Type 99 MG with ammo box (250 rounds)

Personally, i think both 250 round ammo box suggestions would make all tech tree scout cars of all factions be perfectly balanced regarding the ammo count.

(This suggestion is NOT about any other changes, such as replacing the MGs with heavy MGs or something. This post is about balancing all tech tree scout cars.)

sorry, but no.

the 50 mag car is not actually that bad.

and there’s plenty of opportunities for event vehicles like the M2HB machinegun for the allies.

which having more cars allows different br usage or squad composition which i argue it’s better.

but they don’t have to be event vehicles only. much like tanks or airplanes, more cars for TT as sub folder and give more toys. unlike bikes, there are way more cars that can be added as subfolders.

so for me, it’s a no.

I’ll never get tired of seeing this, lol.

Blame yourselves for having shitbox type 11 mg, because if I recall the post that asked to change te-4 had majority yes votes.

1st. Patronenkasten 34 boxes carried 300 rounds, but the vehicles version carried only 150, plus they had to be attached to the support of the weapon to be used effectively, otherwise the ammo belt would twist and cause malfunctions. The weapon mount used in the Kugelwagen was too small to screw the box, the only altenative to have 25 more rounds is giving the Kugelwagen a modified Patronentrommel fed MG34.
2nd. That is a Type 92, not a Type 99. The Type 92 was based on the Hotchkiss feed system, meaning it could only fire using 30-round rigid ammo strips, not belts.
3rd. The Type 11 has 30 rounds.
4th. There is not a “no” option.

Hello there I can see you have a poll but, please have a “No” option to avoid bias polls

You can just use the example shortcode or just edit your post, your call

[poll type=regular name=poll1 chartType=bar public=true]

In the case you can’t edit your poll, just delete it and make a new one

Please edit your post within 3 days, else this post will be closed

I would first upgrade to the Type 99 with a 100-round magazine (whether it actually exists or not) and see how it performs from there; if it turns out to be too weak, then I’d mount the Te-4 on that vehicle.

Thank you for telling me. I added the No option
