Not always, and not as frequently as it used to be. I’ve been playing more BR4 recently as some friends move through the tech tree, BR4 vs BR5 isn’t usually as big a problem as people like to pretend it is.
An honest answer, no, obviously it’s not, but I’m not sure that actually matters unless you believe in perfect simetrical balance. BR4 equipment and vehicles are going to be not as good as br5, and that’s correct and by design. If we follow your logic here, br1=2=3=4=5, so obviously I should be able to fight Tiger 2s and STGs and FGs with springfields or mosins. Why shouldn’t the T-60 be able to pen the panther from the front, amirite?

Alright, well at least i’ve tried. 
If the difference between the PPD-34/38 and LAD, the DT-29 and RD-44, or the Hellcat and KTH is not “big”, then I have no idea what actually counts as a big in this game. So in my view, even if BR4 gets uptiered to BR5 in only 2 out of 10 cases (though it feels much more frequent to me), it’s absolutely unsustainable.
So, BR1 = BR2 and BR2 = BR1. That’s why any reshuffling within BR1-2 barely matters. BR3 is mostly independent, and well, you know the rest regarding the higher tiers. And now you can rephrase your previous statement to fit these new logical frameworks.
Wow comparing the weakest equipment of br 4 to the strongest equipment in br 5 is such a great argument dude.

It’s still a BR 4 weapon.
For comparison, the ‘weakest’ Soviet BR 2 SMG is the PPS-42. Half of my soldiers are equipped with it. Simply because it’s at least as good as the PPSh-41. I carry the Bazooka at BR 3 because it’s more comfortable than the Panzerfaust. I use the PK-B-135 (BR 1) at BR 3 because it’s more convenient than the SVT. Until recently, I also used the RPK-1943 at BR 3… but thank god, now we have the TKB. What BR 3-4 weapons do you choose to take into BR 5, even when you have a choice?

Br 4 weapons I take into br 5: at launchers, until recently Tokyo arsenal, te4 mg, calliope, ke7 50, ppd34/38, ppd40, bf 109 z-1, kiraly, until mg42 100 came out the mg34 with 75 round mags, mg42 early, mg39. Mkb42M. Oh and if I had them the federov mg and type hei mg squads.
I also bring from br 3 the sig (sturmpanzer), the p51 D (until jets came out), the Thompson 30 cal, the 1918a2 bar, before the dispersion nerf the ppsh box, and occasionally mg13 drum
Quite relevant since BR3 sealclubs the BR2 rather often.
If we have regular su-85, it should be BR3.
Su-85m is a big no and should stay at BR4, ppl think otherwise have no idea of its armour protection.You may as well downtier jagdpanzer L/70 (V) to BR3 too.

Your opinion seems to be “I suck at the game too much to compete against BR5 with BR4 equipment, and I am inarguably correct so obviously anyone who disagrees with me must change their opinion.”
I’ll restate: I have no issue fighting BR5 with BR4 equipment, just as I have no issue fighting BR4 with 3 and on down the line. It’s harder, sure, but it’s not nearly impossible.
You’re more right than he is, but there’s still some issues with br 4 vs br 5. Those issues also affect br 5. Select fires are way too strong for default rifles. And jets need some sort of compensatory nerf, either less bombs or resupply further away.
But otherwise yeah it’s a perfectly reasonable match up

Exactly. And it worked out so well that BR 3 almost never gets matched against BR 4, and even in those matches, there are only 1-3 players with BR 4 gear. Over the last week, I’ve seen Tigers and Panthers maybe three times. And I don’t think I’ve died to a Kiraly even once. As for the Ke-7-50, I’ve only just found out it even exists.
I listed several other weapon types as examples. Good morning. I didn’t cherry-pick a specific nation; I just don’t know much about the low-tier gear of other nations.
And do you know why you don’t CHOOSE BR 5 launchers?

Jagdpanzer L/70 (V) is perfectly fine on BR 4. Altho Jagdpanzer 4 with 75mm L/48 on the other hand, could go down to BR 3.

Jagdpanzer L/70 (V) actually has a good gun on BR 4 which also could work against BR 5 tanks that it would faces(85mm is good, but i don’t think it’s simply as good at killing tanks as Panther’s 75mm gun sorry).

If you have actually compared their armor between them, you’d have noticed that Jagdpanzer L/70 (V) has practically no weak spots on it’s frontal armor so the protection is quite solid and dependable. Whereas SU-85M on paper, sloped 75mm armor sounds really protective but in practice it’s not. There are multiple weak spots exists such as Driver’s hatch, Cupola and LFP. Making it’s would be amazing protection on BR 3 in practice, somewhat undependable.

Not to mention that SU-85M doesn’t even have a working coaxial MG so infantry could bully them infinitely.
Anyway, in the end i guess it doesn’t really matter if i’m being honest here. I doubt people would even use SU-85M even if it becomes BR 3(Some people would put in their squad slot for dealing with Tiger 1 & Panther when they get uptiered i guess but that’s probably it)since it’s really inconvenient to use it over tanks with proper turret and MG. Vast majority of people would still prefer using KV-1 it’s just that either some people would at least use SU-85M on BR 3 for a niche role or basically just never ever will be used because it’s horrible at BR 4 that’s it. Remains as another L vehicle that would nobody really uses just like KV-1 ZiS-5 i guess.

I picked it even before the Merge, since I played a lot for both sides in Berlin. At some point, I realized that I didn’t want to play against the KT(H), nor did I want to be on the same team as them. After that, I moved to Moscow. On whose BRs I basically remain to this day.
Stat-wise, yes. But in practice, it’s completely useless there. Sure, the ‘Frying Pan’ is stronger than the SU-85M, but they share the same problem. For casemate tank destroyers to be viable, they literally have to be imbalanced in head-on engagements with tanks.
Gold order weapons were from the battlepass u absolute genius.

What nonsense? Gold orders were given out for events that were and still are free. The Battle Pass appeared just before the orders were removed from the game.
What was the primary way of getting gold orders Einstein?
Apparently you could buy stages or something like that, but I never did that, so I simply don’t remember. All my orders were received exclusively for free.
