The type 100mg is the ONLY infantry gun that can fire both barrels at once, but when the Devs came to code it they used the same methods to bring it to the game as shotguns and it shows.
The type 100 mg fires 2 individual projectiles at once, however the game treats the 2 projectiles as 1 on the stat card and on the ammo display. The ammo readout should show how much ammo is physically in a gun NOT HOW MANY TIMES IT CAN BE FIRED, in most cases this definition would make no difference to the ammo readout but the type 100mg is an exception.
Here is the current ammo readout shown in picture and why it’s wrong:
As you can see the current readout shows how many times the gun can be fired and NOT how much ammo is actually in the magazine.
Well multi barreled weapons are quite rare in Enlisted but luckily there are a few good examples that are fairly similar to the type 100mg:
The aircraft mounted mgs:
Guns like the mg81z and dual mounted brownings already display their ammo correctly, in this video I am firing single shots from the double barrel mg and if you look at the ammo counter each shot correctly subtracts 2 rounds from the magazine:
(I also tried this on the mg81z and the result was the same, however aircraft gun sounds are incorrect so it sounds like a burst of rounds instead)
The infantry weapons:
2 examples on guns which would look different if the ammo counter of the type 100 mg was applied to them (showing number of shots and not actual ammo) are the “Breda PG (CR)” and the “Luftfaust B”.
Here are their stat cards if they were treated the same:
Luftfaust B

Breda

As you can see both of these examples are misleading and wrong, so why not apply the same logic these 2 weapons currently use in their ammo display to the type 100mg?
What I suggest:
•Change how the ammo is displayed, for example the total should say 100 and each shot should subtract 2 rounds
•Correct the type 100 mg stat card to show it fires 2 rounds that do 12 damage each not 1 that does 24 damage
Example of fixed stat card:
- Yes
- No
