Just like how Germany can build captured Ampulomets, allow Japan to build captured Northover projectors from the USA. This isn’t the most realistic option, but it would be in the best interest of game balance to ensure every faction has the flame launcher buildable, which only Japan is missing.
If they have to have a flame bomb thrower I’d rather it be a captured ampulomet from the soviets as there were more built and they existed for longer compared to the Northover projector. But these structures are really niche and Japan doesn’t NEED it.
I find these structures so irrelevant that I don’t think they should be copypasted to other nations. They’re not an issue balance wise.
And If I remember correctly, only certain German squads from Stalingrad campaign can build ampulomets, not even all. (unless something has changed).
I simply don’t like copy paste and undermining the integrity and uniqueness of each faction.
I think every nation should have it. So a captured ampulemet or northover projector would be great.
Germany also got the ampulemet for every flamethrower squad.
Flamethrower II squads for every faction except japan can build them since the merge
I would only accept a captured Amp for now until we find a suitable and immersive replacement, like Japan using German Paks. For now…
I think one of their mortars launching white phosphorous would be better engineer building
