Can't you unlock the class restrictions for the carbine rifle?

I’m sorry, my English is really poor.

I honestly don’t understand. Guns like the VG1-5 have no class restrictions, but the carbine rifle does, and it feels really strange to me. I think it’s only right to remove the class restrictions for the carbine rifle as well. What do you think?

I’ve wanted this for quite some time.

I really would like to give some M1s to my Commonwealth guerrillas, for example:

Perfect carbines for jungle combat.

And, lets not forget that the original intent of the weapon was for it to be available to and used by vehicle crews, such as tankers, truck and APC drivers, and even pilots. This is a historical upgrade, to be allowed to do so in game as well.

And, with the VG 1-5 being available for everyone, there’s no excuse for the M1 Carbine not to be the same.

Eh, indeed I don’t see why not

Plus it wouldn’t be game breaking, I doubt many would wish to replace their smgs with a carbine. But I agree that they should if they wanted to.

Well, the VG1-5 is the only usable semi-automatic weapon among the German Tier 3 weapons, while the Allies have a much wider variety of Tier 3 semi-automatic weapons. That’s why it’s not restricted. You can’t just make random voting suggestions because you don’t play as Germany; the Allied faction won’t directly confront the Soviet submachine guns and semi-automatic rifles, but the Germans will.

M1 carbine is much weaker than the VG1-5. It would not negatively affect game balance if guerillas could use the M1 carbine

That’s specifically why its not restricted? You with your ridiculous but absolute claims.

I dont like how guerillas can use bolt action rifles - turns them into back line snipers, but M1 Carbine and VG do indeed play like semi assault rifles, good in close to medium range, so this wouldn’t hurt the game whatsoever.

Alright, enough explanation. The M1 carbine’s rate of fire is currently on par with the VG 1-5. If the M1 carbine were further buffed, it would become a true small-caliber automatic rifle—not very powerful, but with a superior rate of fire.

You should spend a day playing against Soviet players in a German Tier 3 match before replying to this comment; otherwise, I will simply ignore everything you say, because you are the one talking nonsense.

Every sentence you bring is simply wrong.
I told you already 8 times I am an Axis main player.

No, you must be a player who supports the Allied faction, because you only play the Western Front campaign, while the Eastern Front campaign already bores German players to no end at Tier 3, all because of those steel body armors. The German and American forces could compete fairly on the Western Front, but not on the Eastern Front, because of those Soviet “supermen” in steel body armor.

If you want to limit it, I think the G43 and ZH-29 should be moved down to BR3, because the Soviets have the SVT-38, which is very strong, along with armor that takes about three hits to kill.

Nah just make the SVT38 load with stripper clips and that solves the problem.

If we could use battle pass and event small caliber weapons like the br1 semi autos and the DeLeslie rifle I don’t see a issue with it being low power, they can already use bolt actions for Guerrilla squads, but the only other weapon type they can use is SMGs and shotguns. So either you take a low BR shotgun in a high BR match or take a high BR SMG, it would be nice to have a little bit more variety even if it was low BR within high BR using low power BR I/II event and BP carbine style weapons. At the end of the day it would be players choice to swap to that weapon and take it into whatever BR they want. So if they’re choosing to take a br1 bolt action as a Guerilla into a br5 match, that’s their choice. All this would do is extend that pool from that same. BR and potentially allow them an option for the next BR, This would make them a little more effective in high BR Matches when using this over a bolt action.

As a hard restriction, no guerilla squad for any faction would be allowed to use a rifle in excess of 10 damage with the exception of bolt actions and shotguns. Meaning no BR II/III or IV TT semi-autos, no AR, and no SF.

They would exclusively and only be able to use bolt actions, low power slower carbine rifles (not over 250-320 rof and under 10 damage), smgs and shotguns.

As for other classes, I don’t think we need it most of the classes are pretty balanced. They just need more equipment not opening up existing equipment to be used by that soldier.
