Yes we have to get it at least in mods.

The developers have not completed 90% of the work, and this feature will bring many benefits. It is even more incredible that they do not give us such a feature.

i was disappointed that within the new update… we only got prefabs.

don’t get me wrong, i love them.

but i was expecting more…

like… fixing players profile?

making what you type in entities works in multiplayer?

but nothing of that.

I originally wished they’d added a feature like this to the default mode. Because it can fundamentally solve the problem of diversity and spam.

But as you said some players don’t like that. So the unlimited mode may always be one of the main modes of this game.

So I fall back to the next alternative thing, I hope they add an extra mode to implement functionality like this

At least they should allow modded games to use functionality like this

And such a custom game should allow players to complete the main progress of the game in it

Of course, considering that they have already implemented such a thing in the mecha mode, according to their code, it is only a matter of course to complete such a function.

Excep when they finally die, there is a high chance they won’t be able to use their tiger again since they will lack points.

Also ppl ocupying a vehicle slot is related to vehicle limit so it’s not sth that can be fixed.

But at this point it doesn’t really matter.

well, it’s not really about players not liking it. ( even though, there are some )

it’s about devs not self sabotaging their own model.

think about it rationally.

do you really think putting a score that will prevent new joes to use the stuff that they bought ?

or… why they should be prevented from using stuff that they bought relatively instanty?

which i believe we should get this. a different matchmaker with these type of settings. so you’re doing it willingly instead of being forced.

i’m sorry, but majority of the mods out there are not really balanced.

and you can’t really give xp based on customs either.

i’d like to, but devs them selves can’t be bothered with measuring the xps that should give, review each mods, make sure it’s balanced, and what not.

but since that got announced, not a single one has been selected or made into an event.

because there’s too much to consider for what is worthed.

i wouldn’t say they are greedy, but … yeah. they are not gonna let you farm for free in mods.

Only with this function, like CRSED soul score, can I balance different vehicles well.

Its just digressing.

Even without a points system, there are still situations where you can’t use vehicles. I don’t need to list these existed cases.

After the campaign is merged, each player has 3 planes or 3 tanks, I will always monopolize the tank vehicles, and other players will not have any chance to play.

i did managed to cycle through with 2 p47s and a p38 in normandy more than once.

it’s not that hard as you might believe.

i did the same in stalingrad.

although, flame tank is somewhat less than ideal for cycling but it’s definitely duable.

even if there are tank spawn delays. you can pretty much cycle non stop

if you got one more assault aircarft then

other players will not have any chance to play.

And then I’m looping suicide missiles in the sky, you think I think that’s pretty fun? I don’t think this is fun at all


Back to my topic above, I have nothing against unlimited mode since some naughty players claims that they like to do this. For such game, it’s just broken and all the abuse destroys the gaming experience itself.

there are only 2 slots for airplanes.

which you ( unless you don’t have slots / premium ) guarantee you being on air 100% of the time.

if you die, you can almost spawn right instantly inside another.

as much i don’t think it’s funny,

no ammount of score / soul system can prevent that.

I’m tired and I don’t want to write code and mathematical models.

If your respawn score keeps increasing eventually you will stop the suicide missiles, which is something that needs to be improved in my map.

Cases for existed spawnCostPerSpawnPersonalScore parameter Intention
[0] or [0, 0, 0] (just mean the same) This is a favorite of arcade players, which means there are no restrictions on deployment and you can send anything. This combination is compatible with player preference against personal spawn cost, it’s just the default value for arcade mode.
[100, 200, 300] Spawn costs increase gradually, this is how it is done in mech mode and WarThunder
[300, 200, 100, 0] As a mirror image, reduce it step by step, even down to 0, which means no need for any spawn cost finally
[0, 1000, 0] The first deployment is free, then you need to accumulate 1000 points to continue deploying, finally free without costs
[1000] Cost scores every deployment for some powerful weapons
[0, 600, 0, 0, 600, 0, 0, 200] I this can be a point form for a medium tank in Kursk Field, he costs 600 scores for every 3 units.
[0, 50] You can deploy a small tank or scout vehicle at the game start, it’s always cheap, and first deployment is free cost 0. Your small tanks now have a numerical advantage over larger tanks.
[0, 0, 0, 0, 999999] Only able spawn some vehicle 4 times in your mission. A limited limit on the number of vehicles, which is very common in community mods.

Then with this feature, airports and aircraft carriers will have unique functions, such as players returning to land and they will get points replenished (because they saved their aircraft).

Now, with fewer rules, why would you need to land or skydive? For fun?

I hate naughty fun announcements. This kind of non-existent fun has never been part of the game. This kind of fun is simply unreasonable.

Now in reality most of the players does is suicide missle and hit the ground then quickly switch to infantry, there’s no meaningful landing or jumping behaviors in current game.

but it’s not about your mod.

you know.

there’s way more to it than you are not considering when it comes to spawn score system.

( again, i would like to remind you that i’m not against. as i want to implement it too under certain circumstances )

but it’s not black and white.

the spawn core system has to keep in mind alot of things. such as maps, distances, equipment it self, and we could go on and on.

whether it might works for your mods, it doesn’t mean it will work everywhere.

and that’s a nice spread sheets, but there are many things to discuss that are not addressed there.

like, it’s more generalized than in depth for equipment and what not.

this would only work based on the premise of using for example, profiles. where you and your opponent has the same equipment.

you can’t really do this in the base game.

not right away.

but when i do get my hands on the hipotetical number of score needed, it’s not really that hard to get it.

you see, once again, for veterans like me and i believe you, we don’t struggle to do points.

which it’s always a ping pong situation of where is the correct ammount of point in order to call a vehicle and what not.

you don’t want to make it super easier for veterans, and not super hard for averange joe to not being able to use the tiger.

all to say, once again, enlisted is not based on equipment restrictions.

because they went for the " free " (dome) route.

you use what you have and what you got without limitations.

they did implemented a punishment.

the first one was, if you suicide bombed, you had to waste 20 seconds in the loading screen. but for some reason, got removed.

then they switched to the second, that if you suicide bombed, you’d get no points nor kills counted.
also removed that one…
