I know, many will be dissapointed for add another german stuff and copy paste, but please, before you kill me listen, they imported it from Germany a few and they stole in china MANY of them as well, however it existed and here is a good example of a soldier with a captured one
I have something far more unique for Japan than a copy pasted 7.63 mauser.
A chinese Mauser copy upscaled to fire .45 acp Shanxi .45 acp Mauser C96 Boxgun
Japan had indeed captured many Mauser C96 pistols, but I dont want every faction to have the same sidearm copy pasted, hence the compromise with the fairly unique Shanxi Mauser.
I will eventually get around suggesting this, but Im kinda short on time to do a quality post right now.
Thank you for your post. I have suggested this before and agree!
@Valkay Excellent idea, the boxcannon was what I was thinking of.
C96 Mausers were very common in Asia, you often see them in Korean, Chinese and Japanese films/tv shows set in the interwar period or obviously WWII.
Even Kong: Skull Island had the Japanese pilot armed with one.
I believe Japanese officers had to buy their own sidearm, similar to Britain, and the C96 was popular.
Japan also needs better automatic pistols. At the moment the Nambu is the only use-able pistol in my opinion.
eh I think there are many other and more interesting native options for new TT pistols, those were mentioned in that Dirktator_Dirk post you commented, no more copy and paste, with event its ok but TT? Nah
