It’s another forgotten old BP weapon for USA that needs some love.
6.2 damage at 10m means that it would requires in average 3 shots to down someone with vitality perk even at point blank range(Think how much shots would it needs to down someone at medium range now, it’s awful) and this isn’t even an automatic weapon and the fact that it’s sitting at BR 2 makes it meme level of weapon. I don’t think that this one should be this bad.
I propose the damage increase to 6.8 at 10m, which is more than other SMGs that would uses the same calibre just like every other pistol-calibre carbine in the game does. It uses 7.65x20 Long, which is the same ammunition that MAS-38 uses. Currently it deals exactly the same amount of damage as MAS-38 despite the M1903 Pedersen deivce being a pistol-calibre carbine AND with rather long barrel as you can see here.
So i think the damage increase to 6.8 is fair deal here. One thing i also want to suggest is that even with that damage buff, it would probably not fair well in BR 2 versus other semi-auto rifles in the game such as M1 Carbine and Kretz etc. So i suggest make it BR 1 as well while at it.
