Pedersen rifle is kind of forgotten semi-auto rifle from the old BP.
It is pretty bad semi-auto rifle for being BR 3, as you can see it deals less damage/more horizontal recoil than M1941 Johnson and also lacking bayonet.
On top of that, it has a glaring issue which can be explained with this screenshot.
The toggle assembly on this gun when shooting literally blocks half of your screen, it’s actually worse than Hei-auto rifle. Makes it very difficult to perform rapid follow-up shots with this rifle.
As such, i want to see this rifle gets some buff it deserves. At first, i thought of damage increase for this rifle on par with M1941 Johnson but then i realized that it uses different ammunition, turns out that this gun uses .276 Pedersen cartridge.

So .276 Pedersen indeed being much weaker ammunition than 30-06 so the damage increase is out of window. Now, some of you might have noticed that “wait a minute, it uses much weaker ammunition but why does this Pedersen rifle has more recoil than M1941 Johnson which uses 30-06?” and you are absolutely right about that, Pedersen rifle at the very least should get much less recoil.

That’s why i’m suggesting recoil buff for this rifle, preferably on the similar recoil stats as some of those Japanese semi-auto rifles, for example Type Hei rifle (late) here with 33 vertical and 16 horizontal recoil. It should get faster reload speed as well(Preferably between 2.5~2.9 seconds) because 3.4 seconds reload speed for such gun is honestly, bit too much.
