Buff the Hino rifle

I think the Hino rifle could use some buff.
15 rounds magazine on BR 3 with low recoil is very nice indeed but this gun suffers from having low damage for semi-auto rifle(6.5 Arisaka, so low damage is to be expected). Now, this would have been perfectly fine if the Hino rifle at least had a better RoF but it has 280 RoF which is quite low and this makes the player can’t properly utilize it’s high-capacity magazine.

So i suggest RoF buff for the Hino rifle, from 280 RoF to 350 RoF.
This buff will make this gun a lot more usable in many situations.

Same 15 round semi-auto rifle on BR 3 for the comparison. Not only Meunier A6 able to shoot much faster but also deals more damage, so i think RoF buff alone on Hino rifle would be fair.

A large and very important difference between the Hino and Meunier is that the Hino is detachable mag fed not stripper clip into a fixed mag thus allowing significantly faster reloads.

Hence, the reload speed differences between 2 guns.
But the combination of low RoF and low damage on Hino rifle makes the faster reload speed kiiinda meaningless. This becomes even more of an issue when players using Hino rifle fights against Soviet body armors.

And there is our old friend who the developers don’t want to address.

What about the Type Hei 10 or Type Hei (late)?
Those two suffer from the same weaknesses.
It would be easier and more balanced to justify a damage buff to these rifles, ideally one that does not affect Type Hei Auto or Fedorov Avtomat.

Don’t kid yourself, man—the French partisan rifle reloads 5 rounds at a time, whereas the Hino is one of the most accurate rifles at BR3 and uses a 15-round magazine.

Dude, you’re misleading everyone by failing to mention that the French rifle reloads 5 rounds at a time, whereas the Hino rifle has a detachable magazine. And regarding its damage output—that level of damage should remain as is.
And you shouldn’t compare it to the partisan rifle—you can’t just hand it to an Engineer or another class; it’s not like the Hino, which you can easily give to an Engineer…
I specifically looked up what her reload time is for you.

I’m waiting for an answer to this question—how will you explain it to me?
The player takes the Hino rifle’s downside (low damage) and compares it to the Meunier A6’s upside (high damage), while completely ignoring the Hino’s advantage (15 rounds in a detachable magazine) and the Meunier’s drawback (only 5 rounds and a slow reload).
This is a classic example of “whining” in the chat to coax the developers into buffing a favorite weapon, while conveniently omitting its actual advantages.

Already made a separated post about these guns. Apparently, i shouldn’t put too many guns in one post at the same time for the buff because it decreases the chance to get passed on.

I’ve already explained it why. You just didn’t even bother to read in the first place.

But i’ll explain again nonetheless. Hino rifle deals 13.9 dmg at 10m. This is not a problem when you are fighting USA but becomes a glaring issue when you are fighting Soviet with body armors. You can’t one shot down a soldier even at point blank range. Then at this point, you are stuck with 280 RoF which is nowhere near fast enough to put a second shot before they shoots you and kills you instead.

Semi-auto rifles with 350 RoF at least can fire back fast enough if you click fast enough. One might think that the RoF matters little for the semi-auto rifles but It is actually very noticeable for the semi-auto rifles.

Now let’s take a look at Meunier A6. It deals 14.4 damage, with NOT fighting the soviet body armor. This fact alone already makes this gun infinitely better than the Hino rifle. But that’s not the end of it, it also has 380 RoF which means you can rapid fire this thing and hits multiple targets in quick succession as long as you can control the recoil(Not even that hard with 40% vertical perks anyway). The slow clip reload is a downside but that doesn’t make this gun worse than the Hino rifle in any stretch of imagination due to the advantages i mentioned above.

Also i think you are misunderstood the point i’m trying to make here. I’m not saying that Meunier A6 is OP or something like that. I’m saying that since Meunier A6 is perfectly fine on BR 3 with these stats then the Hino rifle with 350 RoF will also perfectly fine on BR 3 and won’t break the game balance, that’s what i’m trying to say here.

Why so much aggression? Someone hurt your feeling?
the Hino rifle is not my favorite weapon, i just wrote the post because i thought it could use some help because in statwise and after played with it in-game a few times, i found that it is not that good BR 3 BP semi-auto rifle, that’s it. I don’t even use the Hino rifle on my JP BR 3 loadouts now because of it.

The hino rifle is a great weapon… no need for it to be buffed.

You still haven’t explained why the Hino has a detachable 15-round magazine, whereas the Meunier A6 doesn’t—yet you don’t mention that the latter reloads using 5-round clips.
Why have you latched onto that Soviet body armor? Does it really infuriate you that much?

I did mention it. Is this another case of you failing to read the reply?

What do you mean? Have i not explained why it’s not that big of advantage when other stats involved? Are you actually incapable of reading or willfully ignorant about this?

I could say the same to you. Why are you latching so much on 5 rounds clip reload while ignoring all other stats? Does it really infuriate you that much?

Don’t you realize how much of a difference reloading the magazine makes? The advantage of a detachable magazine is huge. And you shouldn’t compare it to the French rifle used only by partisans—that one is restricted to a specific class, unlike the Japanese one, which engineers or Assaulters can equip.

Would have mattered if the other stats were more comparable. Which is not. 280 RoF with sub 14 dmg for semi-auto rifle doesn’t make it magically so awesome even with 15 rnds mag with fast reload period.

Hino is good and fun as it is, leave it tf alone.
