Currently, the most of BR 4 semi-auto rifles, especially the TT ones lacks their identity compared to BR 3 semi-auto rifles because the stat increase from their previous BR 3 semi-auto rifles are often only marginal such as SVT-40 being basically slightly increased it’s dmg from SVT-38 and put on BR 4, G43 is basically G41 but faster reload speed on BR4 for example.
Also, BR 4 semi-auto rifles in general are massively in disadvantage, even more than the usual +1 BR difference when compared to BR 5 SF rifles. Because BR 5 SF are just that good and, since it’s BR 4, one using them will going to meet those BR 5 SF rifles in regular basis.
So i suggest the RoF buff for the BR 4 semi-rifles with 350 RoF to alleviate these problems. 350 from 380 RoF sounds like only marginal increase but in actual practical use, it would make a difference. You would know what i’m talking about if you had used pre-buff M1 Carbine and VG 1-5.
Also another point i want to add, is that some of the BR 4 semi-auto rifles(Such as SLR 1944 and Winchester G30R here) already have had been with 380 RoF and they have been performing good, not over performing in any stretch of imagination so i think it wouldn’t cause any balance problem by doing so.
Here are the list of BR 4 semi-auto rifles with 350 RoF i could find :
SVT-40
SVT-40 with Bubnov drum
SVT-40 with 15 rnds mag
SVT-40 with Scope
G43
G43 with Scope
Mondragon M1908 with 30 rnds mag
Breda PG (Carcano)
ZH-29
Farquhar-Hill M1918
That’s all i think. Let me know if i missed anything.
*I left out M1 Garand with GL intentionally despite it’s technically BR 4 semi-auto rifle because it’s basically just the same BR 3 M1 Garand but only with GL attachment.
