Incorrect. It’s how you use it and adapt to the battlefield. A ppsh will always be better at clearing rooms as well. Just gotta use it how it’s supposed to be used and not run around like it’s halo or call of duty
No, you’re wrong, FG422 and AVS36 are better, they one-shot and have higher DPS.
So what? There already were no better flame squad you could take? The premium ones for u.s. Germany were/are the absolute best. Flamethrowers as a whole aren’t even that good. They can easily be killed now before you die to one. It would be in no way, shape or form pay to win either, especially with having to pick one mode or the other
How many guys you killing with a fg42 in a crowded room with a point in it? Maybe 5 to 6 if you run in there if you’re lucky. Ppsh is killing 10+ easily. I main smgs and ars in br5. I am always at the top of the leader board. It’s how you use it that makes a gun good or not.
Also, another issue: since it’s the flamethrower class, there’s no extra backpack space.
The Suomi KP/-31 only has two drum mags, so its fire sustainability is really poor.
On top of that, the flamethrower soldier won’t switch weapons.
Right now, you can’t just rush in like a regular infantryman because of the flamethrower role.
Plus, the flamethrower doesn’t refill fuel automatically.
The devs haven’t responded to any of this.
There are just so many problems.
I think it’d be better to make some real changes: revert the flamethrower, buff the underbarrel weapon on the Suomi based on historical stats,
and let the fuel refill skill also resupply a large ammo pack for the Suomi.

I agree with most besides the large ammo pouch. That can be the drawback of having the flamethrower compared to the regular Suomi.
