Buff soviet lewis gun

Currently the premium lewis gun for soviets loses to default tech tree DPM in almost every stat besides vertical recoil. It has more horizontal recoil, more dispersion, slower reload, slower rpm etc. It doesn’t really provide anything unique to the table and there is no reason to use it besides the drip.

Considering that other nations have powerful br 3 lmg squads such as mg 13 drum, polish bar, colt monitor, and captured m1918a2 i think the lewis deserves to get some buffs.

Lowering the horizontal recoil and dispersion would be a great start but i honestly don’t care how they buff it as long as it becomes worth using.

Should the lewis gun get buffed?

Then they should extend the buffs to the .303 Lewis as well because that’s got even worse stats than the soviet Lewis.

Totally agree. Even with the better rear sight it still cannot compete with browning m1918a2.

Do not give it the new lewis 303 sights.

Yea Lewis LMG is pretty bad on BR 3. If it’s too heavy to be given a better sprint/ADS speed and RoF is in IRL range but not bad enough to be put in a BR lower then at least the recoil should be very manageable.
