On the plus side it saves a lot of time spent micro managing soldiers in and out of squads. Now you can just rank the soldiers you started with up to 5.
I’m going to give this change a fair chance before I pass any sort of judgement on it.

It will take you more bronze order for early grinding, but much much less order for later grinding.
When you nearly fully grinded and only need one extra 5 star soldier, for example an Assaulter II, you need to draw hundreds and hundreds of soldiers for that, here is the math:
24( there are 24 type of soldiers in Normandy)

15(let say you are so lucky to get 9x2star and 6x3star)
÷
2(average 2 soldiers for each draw)
=180
You need 180 bronze order for that if lucky enought.
And 180 order is not the problem, most of us got thousands of orders. Problem for this is it took lot lot of times to keep recruiting and sending them back(normally you only got less then 100 free slots), and these take hours to do.

Uh… no - it was in the news as a major announcement that it was going to be made about 2 months ago and hter has been no reason at all to think it was going to be dropped.
Lots of posts on here people thinking about what it might mean - should you use up all your ordrs, or save them, etc.
You’d really have to have not been paying attention to have missed all the bits and pieces about it and think it was dropped! 
Yeah you do - you need it more than ever, since the number of bronze orders directly relates to hte amount of XP you are getting in your games!!!
Ya, but I agreed it will better if they announce right b4 such a big change.
I agree with you on that, I don’t think previously it was as easy as people make it out to be to get to rank V.
The current feature can be considered better in some ways since it’s less RNG dependent.
The main thing before was that you could get soldiers with bronze orders and had a chance to receive multiple soldiers of various classes. Now it costs a silver just to get a single one. - making it harder for newer players
I remember you mentioning something about silver economy back then. Spot on mate.

Before the change, one could gamble on bronze orders and get “free” higher level soldiers, I doubt anyone is willing to gamble with silver orders in the same way (although their minimum level is 2, at least for now)
Same applies to weapons, when they make that change.
Yeah. Tell that to the matches I have with 70-130 kills. Usually 1st-5th place.
And I get 2 bronze orders.
Sure I’ve had a few times give me 10 orders when I’m first.
Not in the last day though and I’m not slouching on the meat grinder.
Think how few you would have received without premium.

What the actual fuck ? This totally took my motivation to even play the game. I just returned to play it and then im like “oh okay now i can start buying some troops since my squads lack bunch” Oh wait i cant because they are now behind silver orders and you can do what 3 missions per day without… thats right buying a fucking battle pass ? I knew gaijin was money hungry but this is just too much. Good luck with the game… you just killed it
the grind in this game was absolutely ridiculous to start with, and now it’s much worse. I just reloaded this game and was getting ready to blow a load of money on premium for a few months. but now i have absolutely no confidence that I will receive money’s worth. What’s this shit like 4 silver orders a month? How the fuck is anyone supposed to fill out their squads. You know it’s bad enough that like 80% of the entire world is getting fucked over in the Paycheck department. But you shady asshats got to turn the greed up to 25 out of 10. BY THE WAY, IM NOT SPEAKING TO THE DEVS, they produced a solid game with Huge potential. I’m talking to the Suits. Over the last couple of years, especially this year, it seems game companies are releasing unfinished Garbage expecting flocks of idiots without 2 dimes to rub together to sell a kidney to buy what is a worthless game. The bloody EPIC GREED, has made this game suck ass.
re-install the game after a long time played Beta mostly done 2 battles and after that wanted to buy new troops and i just see this sh*thole uninstalled right on spot
