Bronze Troop Orders Calling Removed

So… the bronze orders to call up troops got removed.

Big yikes.

What can I use my bronze orders for now?

Seems like I can only upgrade my soldiers now, wow.

This is a big change without notifying the public beforehand.

Low-key glad I bought up as many troops possible before the update without even being aware of this.

Upgrading a 1* to 2* and so on.

It was mentioned a few months ago in a dev blog, long ago enough most of us assumed it had been dropped.

Wasn’t aware, glad I stacked up on a few campaigns.

If I had known I would have stacked even more on a few factions I haven’t played much.

Actually they did warn the people about this change before, they told to use them for troops as long as its avialible, or wait till this update came

It’s actually a great change, I’m glad they did this.

Makes troop management a lot more simplistic.

I like the simplicity, and I like that I can KEEP my old perk when respeccing (but that means only 2 new options).

However…

54 bronze orders to upgrade a Rifleman II to max level is too much, even if bronze order income was doubled.
Especially if their stats are still random instead of getting max Speed, Vitality and Weapon Handling.
edit: Training (3 bronze orders) increases (random) stat by 1.

That’s before level 5 upgrade now.

edit2: Leveling up soldier gives them bonus stats (kind of like before), and Training soldiers reduces levelup cost. If training costs 3 orders, the levelup cost is reduced by same amount.

True the price is much.

But even without the doubling I was earning ~6-12+ orders per game

Considering you get a tier V soldier that lasts forever and can be used in other squads I think the progression speed is fine.

Ah! Classic Gaijin.

I did call it back then though. I’m sadly not surprised…

that is just insane far too much to upgrade.

Also what am i meant to do with all my other spare soldiers i have i really wish you could get rid of them and get compensated with bronze orders.

Shame the academy is gone i never did really bother to rank up soldiers all the way i kinda forgot probably wont bother now due to upgrading the troops is more expensive. I kinda liked the academy.

True, I’m kind of mixed now that I do have a lot of soldiers.

On one hand, that’s a lot of silver orders saved, and on the other hand… what do I do with all of them? haha

I can see enlisted turning out like other gajin games such as war thunder and crossout with it just taking too long to grind a single thing it really puts me off and I’m pretty sure it puts others off too.

The current speed of the progression is okay in enlisted and how you got troops with bronze orders was good and the academy was okay i honestly don’t think they should of removed it. Dumbing things down is always a bad idea.

Eheheh wait till the new weapon upgrade system comes! It will be just as pricy… :expressionless:

Don’t agree with that, the previous version of troop management was a mess.

It was just a giant spreadsheet management with moving troops back and forth.

IMO this change is wonderful.

Whether the progression speed is tuned however is something debatable.

The new economy however, isn’t… they used a mechanic change opportunity to boost prices…

the issue i have now is that i have loads of spare troops and nothing to do with them i cant use them to upgrade existing troops and i cant delete them to get bronze orders from them.

Its fucking useless.

Not a bad thing IMO, you have lots of bodies now you can experiment with different perk builds.

Just remember, normally you spent 1 bronze order for 1 or several of these troops, now it costs a silver order to get a single soldier.

I just hope they add a way to upgrade soldiers for example from Assault 1 to Assault 2 or 3.

fuck i really hope not >w>

If they make all this stuff expensive its just going to drive away players and not gain many others.
