BR3 -> BR1 for the Na-To

The jump from BR3 to BR1 may seem major, but not for this heap of garbage. The Na-To is one of, if not the, worst tanks in the game, and the fact that it’s still sitting at BR3 is embarrassing.

Let’s start with the good, the gun performs really well against tanks. You can easily punch through Shermans with the APHE and destroy them with minimum shell expense. If downtiered the gun will perform just as good, but then again it’s not hard to punch through the armor of most tanks in the lower BRs.

Now let’s start with the bad. Firstly the armor is similar to the M13, which is terrible. 12mm at the thickest stops everything except the stuff meant to actually kill tanks, so any tank you face will have 0 problem dealing with you. But most of the time you’ll be fighting infantry, and that 12mm of armor doesn’t matter before 4/6 of your crew isn’t even protected by it.

From the front your commander and gunner have their heads exposed, which is easy pickings for vehicles and infantry alike. Then from the side both of your loaders are completely exposed along with your commander and gunner. On top of that, your tank is a massive, fairly slow moving target, so picking off your crew with a rifle is no problem for infantry. Also, your tank is the wet dream of any pilot, a massive, exposed, slow moving target that can be destroyed by simple gun runs.

And lastly to prevent people from crying about HE spam, let’s go over the ammo load out.

You get 17 APHE rounds, which isn’t terrible considering those are what are gonna be killing tanks. But then you also get 16 APCR rounds, which are just objectively worse than the APHE and you’ll never live long enough to run out of APHE. But then the real killing blow, only 7 HE shells, barely enough to even make a difference let alone enough to make it worth spawning in the heap of garbage. Another thing you’ll notice while looking at the ammo load out is that despite your commander poking his head out over the armor plate meant to protect him, you’re still stuck in periscope view.

The Na-To is currently just a bot tank, because no real player will actually use it. Even at BR1 it would serve more as just a way to deal with Grants in an uptier, but at BR3 I have no problem calling it the most useless tank in the game.

If you’re voting no then I’m assuming you’ve never used the Na-To before

Move to BRII, change ammo to 20APHE+20HE

BR1 no, but BR2 yes

The game doesn’t need more HE spam

It would be just as useless at BR2

Increasing its amount of HE shells is a must to make it viable, otherwise it will remain worthless regardless of the BR changes.

And no, it is not gonna contribute to make HE spam worse; quite the opposite, since every single japanese BR 2 tank has far superior HE shells than the Na-To. The more players choose Na-To over, lets say, Ho-I - the lesser bad the HE spam will be.

This is the problem with you people, you assume that big gun means that it would be problematic in BR1, but you ignore every other factor that goes into a tank. Please get some more experience before you try sharing your opinion

No faction should have a tank in br 1 with greater than 8 meter radius splash (unless it has sub 10 damage fragments)

Well …
I think we can use it as a joker pick like Marder.
Just like Marder takes on KV-1 in BR2, this can also take on Sherman.

I put Marder in BR2 Deck.
If get a BR3 match, can’t destroy the KV-1 unless it’s Marder. (Except for airplanes)

If it had 20 APHE and 20 HE then I would agree and say it should be BR2, it would still be worse than the Marders for obvious reasons, but it would be closer.

But with 16 worthless APCR rounds I can’t say the Na-To should be anywhere higher than BR1

I don’t get shit like this, you get uptiered quite a bit when on BR1 so what difference does it make. The tank is trash, who cares if the gun is big if everything else about the tank is trash.

“But but but HE spam”, you’re still gonna face M8 Scotts, you’re still gonna face 75mm KwK37s, you’re still gonna face Ho-Is, you’re still gonna face T-28s, you’re still gonna face HE.

There’s no BR0 that you’re introducing HE spam to, so what’s the point in keeping the shit tier, dumpster fire tank from being placed with the rest of the trash.

75/32 is totally deference with NaTo, The cannon on Na To is more like Flack 88 instead of 75/32 short cannon.
