It seems that certain BRs are out of thier element when they are uptiered or downtiered. For example…new players playing BR1 shouldn’t be uptiered to play against veterans with maxed out squads and equipment. The same can be said for BR4 being uptiered to BR5 with jets and top tanks . It seems that the match making would benefit from being queued in a match with similar BR. This would probably help sell Premium squads too because some avoid it due to the tiering system. It would also help balance out equipment being in the right BR like tank destroyers. If experienced players want to use squads on higher tiers, they just have to add them to a higher rated line up. I find myself avoiding most BR4 squads I have because they aren’great when uptiered so I avoid BR4 all together. It would be easier for devs to balance thing for a level rather than worrying about how it performs if up or down tiered.
Do you think the BRs would benefit from only playing similiar BRs?

No like BR1 only plays BR1…and so on all the the way up.

Ya, I think the match making would be better…especially at 1, 4 and 5.
If they were to implement +0/-0 matchmaking then they better make it toggleable. I don’t want my queue times jacked up cause people can’t handle uptiers.

You only get up tiered to Br2 at Br1 most of those players aren’t vets they aren’t even close there is super unicorns that play rank 2 to slap noobs around but the majority of vets play around Br 3 and 5.
The biggest disadvantage I see is if I have BR3 and BR4 weapons and I am up tiered to BR 5, which ALWAYS happens, my fully semi auto rifles are no match for BR5 fully auto semi auto rifles, so you’re at a severe disadvantage. Being up tiered to BR5 you’re basically at a distinct disadvantage in every weapon if we’re talking honestly about it. Why the Dev’s can’t, or don’t want to figure this out is beyond me, but their logic has me baffled on so many levels that if I had any hair left, I would have pulled it out a couple years ago.

Even still…new players at BR2 already have better squads and equipment then BR1. As a vet, I can say a LOT of us play all over the place . BR5 isn’t what vets mainlly play because of the spammed HE. BR2-3 is most fun.

I rarely ever go lower the rank 2 rank III feels the most historic Tigers are rare like they should be and most not all nations have what equipment that they actually fielded.
Ya, huge disadvantage, that’s why I think it should be +/- 0 when playing. At BR2 and 3, getting up tierd isn’t that bad as gear isn’t crazy different…at BR1 and 4, uptier is deadly.

Yeah, I usually use no BR4 weapons, unless I am 100% confident it won’t be a liability in BR5. Most are liabilities, so really I only use them in my own custom matches.
