BR II Weapons Missing Historical Bayonet Options

I would like to propose adding bayonet attachments to the following BR II weapons:

Armaguerra Mod. 39 (Italy – Axis)

M1 Carbine (USA – Allies)

Lanchester SMG (UK – Allies)

Beretta M38 SMG (Italy – Axis)

Winchester M1895 (USSR – Allies)

Mannlicher M1895 (Austria – Axis)

All of these weapons historically had bayonet capability. In addition, their direct in-game counterparts already have access to bayonets (e.g., Type Hei, Fedorov, BR II semi-automatic rifles, Type 100 SMG, SMLE Mk III, and Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk I).

Because of this, adding bayonets to the weapons listed above would be historically accurate and consistent from a gameplay balance perspective, rather than creating an advantage.

Yes to everything except the M1 Carbine.

For the vast majority of M1 Carbines during WW2 lacked bayonet mountings, and so does the model in game. They are physically incapable of accepting a bayonet. I like that the M1 Carbine, currently in BR II, represent early usage of the gun.

Instead, there should be a new event gun added, which is just a M1 carbine but with a bayonet lug modification added on to it. I think this is the better alternative than removing this fine piece of firearms history.

Beretta should not have bayonet. The bayonet lug was removed from mab 38a models to reduce costs

Only early model berettas had bayonets which we already have with the br 1 premium para squad

The MP34 from Germany could accept a bayonet too, right?

When suggested the japanese fanboys always say that they are the only ones allowed to have smgs with bayonets

I main Japan and I support giving bayonets to any and all guns from all factions if that gun supported a bayonet

Thank you for your post.

I agree but also second comments by others regarding weapons that should and should not have bayonets.

I wish Enlisted had a bayonet function like some Roblox games (Hell Let Loose may have Im not sure) where youd press B and the soldier would actually put the bayonet on or remove it.

After all, there are times when you dont really need the bayonet on there for guns that automatically include them.

To be fair maybe i remember that from the reddit which is irrelevant… although i’ve heard every time when asked for something like this it’s said “it will take away uniqueness from japan”

Well actually i can think of someone who’d say that here.

rising storm did that

You need the actual weapons manufacture historical technical documentation for Gaijin to “conside” changing a weapon, or so we keep being told. Then, they will probably ask for a certain level of Top secret security clearance to boot.
