It is true, the motorcycles have not been liked and I know that they are not useful in all campaigns, but there are options whether they are converted vehicles such as jeeps or trucks like in this photo of a Japanese truck in which they attached a machine gun, perhaps in this squad It could be converted for your engineer to be a mechanic role and thus be able to repair allied tanks at high speed across the battlefield, with tanker perks for quick repairs, more tools, etc. maybe add the fast reload perk but it’s just a concept to tell the developers

yea like the russian truck but sadly the truck use tanker slot instead of biker style slot anyway would love some transport squad like bike since i love those

the biker 2 count as infantry even if it spawn in vehicle areea,for what I remember it was a vote for that years ago
officially (as far as i know) biker 2 does not exist only the biker in tunisia and premium were a thing
the russian truck count as a “tank” squad for some reason

yes sorry, I was meaning biker 1, I am fighing for they add them to the other campaigns too in the merge,showing examples of other factions,mostly japan ones
If we had a giant map motorcycles may be able to truly shine. I’d say their role is basically shock infantry. You can roll up to a point and fire your MG then race away
I disagree a little and think this is a little convoluted. You can accomplish the same thing by just giving Tools to your soldiers
i mean i learn 3 day ago that the russian also have bike however i dont know if it have any self defense capability but we could get bike for all faction tbh oh and jap too anyway would love to have transport squad like halftrack

I’d say the problem or debate with light vehicles is their armament. Are ones with heavier arms classified as “tanks” while lightly armed are classified as “truck, car, bike” whatever. For example, the Puma and the Greyhound are armored cars
In a post I made to someone on the staff, they liked the idea of giving the engineers perks for the tankers, so being able to create the class would be ideal to not oversaturate the engineers.

personally imo if the gun can penetrate a tank or armour car like m8 greyhound then it use tank slot but
if it cant penetrate and only have mg like german halftrack then maybe it consider “rider” slot but that how i would class them
That’s very interesting. But at the same time the Panzer 2 is a tank slot in Moscow
my logic would work tho since pz2 can pen soviet light tank so no problem there tbh i havent consider any br rating at all
idea for the pool of ideas within the merge, being able to choose the type of vehicle you want to apply, if you go on a motorcycle it would be considered infantry, but if you choose a truck or a half-track it would fall into the tank category, the premium ones would include this feature
So should halftracks, trucks, etc with auto cannons be classified as tank slots since they may be able to pen lighter vehicles
im no expert yea but what can pz2 pen? i know soviet light tank are working but a halftrack with mg42 definitely cant pen a tank
i guess that how it would work but tbh i really want more infantry vehicle that doesnt use tank slot since i either have to pick truck to use for fun or actual tank to kill enemy but that just my opinion
Let’s look at the Puma family, there were 4 variants. The auto cannon, 50mm gun, assault gun, and heavy AT gun.
Should the light gun, heavy gun, and assault gun be classified as tanks while the auto cannon variant is a “light vehicle”
problem is those 4 can pen a tank but im not really sure on the auto cannon maybe that one could count as infantry support vehicle
like if we use normandy as an example the puma can pen m5 and m8 which are low br tank so i guess it make sense
anyway we should probably let people that are smarter than me do the thinking since im pretty dumb
