I’d say anything with a cannon = tank slot and anything with less than a cannon (HMG or LMG) is an infantry spawn
So AT cannons, support cannons, auto cannons, all tank slots
M2’s, MG34/42, M1919’s, etc all infantry
Simplifies it better than basing it on armor or armor penetration. Also doesn’t penalize the M2 for being the best HMG to exist. Lol
what does the pz2 used tho since that guy ask me that and i dont really know what pz2 used also yea that make sense
1 × 2 cm KwK 30 L/55 Ausf. A–F
1 × 2 cm KwK 38 L/55 Ausf. J–L
Both are auto cannons. 20mm auto cannons to be exact
btw before that guy make me brainstorm about what is a “tank” i was suggesting that biker 2 or rider 2 should be transport/armour carrier like halftrack what do you think about my suggestion?
Dude, the M3 Halftrack and subsequent M5 Halftrack are some of my favorite military vehicles of all time. They look sexy, and were some of the greatest examples of strap something to it and send it into battle. Which is one of my favorite design ideas. From the French M1897 75mm cannon mounted on the front of the bed, to an M1919 mounted in the passenger side of the front windshield. Cargo carrier, personnel carrier, GMC, MGMC, we used them things for EVERYTHING and I’d love to see one or all of them get added. Personally rooting for the one with two M1919’s and one .50 mounted on it (with spots for infantry to sit in and fire over the sides) and the M3 GMC for trolling Panzer III’s and IV’s
I think half tracks could work as mobile rally points that you can spawn even under combat but have a slightly longer queue cooldown than rally points. This balances how they are armed but are relatively lightly armored.
But then there are a large variety of half tracks, some with just MGs, others with mortars, flamethrowers, assault guns, AT guns, AA cannons, etc
Would every halftrack have the rally point ability or does this get complicated when we look at the “tank vs light vehicle debate”
I think them being basic personnel carriers would be better than a mobile rally point would be. Besides, a mobile rally point doesn’t have many advantages over a well placed rally point
