Agreed, a 2.5 second reload time is good, however with only a 15 round magazine and a ROF of 800 people will be reloading every 2.5 seconds as well. In BR5 that is called suicide. 
Either give it a bigger magazine or drop it to level IV.

They are so petty when it comes to ‘fixing’ and covering up, they might edit that promotional picture with a small sized magazine, instead of adressing the actual issue lmao

I’m calling it now, because I’m cynical about many stuff and how they treat their playerbase, and I hope I’m proved wrong. With this new backed-up information about the existence of a longer magazine Scotti Naval rifle, now they’re gonna pack it up into a premium Italian squad. Because they “listened to the community” about wanting more Italian themed content.

The fact that this could happen saddens me.
Reading around there are several suggestions all over that would make it far more intersting in it current configuration (15 round mag despite all the contrary findings)
- Universal Weapon (AVS type Weapons)
- BR 3 machine gun (hadnt thought of that one…pretty cool)
- BR 4 AR (Better than BR 5
, but perhaps not as interesting? )
I rather like the LMG idea…it makes the most sense to me as its intention was to be a Naval Anti Aircraft weapon

Well, I suggest installing BR4 for AVT-40 and AVS-36. They only have 15 rounds, and AVT-40 has a rate of fire of 660 rounds per minute. You can even make the damage 14.5 for this.

Well, I see only two solutions here:
- Damage 13.9 and a 20-25 round magazine. BR5 naturally.
- Don’t change anything. The weapon is already great.
I have been suggesting this for all automatic rifles for a long time.

the problem is not mainly the magazine is the firerate like it happens with the fg42 why would you and most russian users call the FG42 II rof buff actually OP? wow i cant even belive that reloading every 2 seconds a gun that cant hit its shoots after 20 meters is the meta same applies here i cant belive that you call this gun great when it cant hold the trigger for more than 2 secs

The Scotty has a very fast reload. That’s a fact. Faster than any other rifle.
