Even though Germany and Japan were allies, the comparison just feels really underwhelming.
Hello. The new rifle’s stats have been changed to match those of the Arisaka Type 38 Carbine. They’re very poor, and the weapon currently looks pathetic. Please update the stats to match those of the Arisaka Type 38 Rifle.

That’s actually pretty good. The KE7 has basically replaced those two weapons that have the downside of the magazine blocking your view. Not to mention the old machine guns with bayonets used to have the same melee speed as rifles, so their sprint speed got nerfed, making them pretty pointless to use now.
Sad, that Gaijin still haven’t buffed that plane. It still needs bombs (which it can carry) for BR III.

Also @MajorMcDonalds , do the devs plan on giving Germany a event Thompson? The soviets and Japanese got a event one, and yet Germany doesn’t. If they need ideas I’ve made two posts for them

Much more interested in these bp weapons and plane. Then I am about am about VE event since I don’t use tanks much or play br 1.
I guess you’re talking about the dud grenade melee weapon? I’ve seen this kind of thing in both BF1 and TF2.
It’s a melee weapon that has a chance to explode after hitting an enemy.

the gold soldiers are great.

the rifle is a mix of stats between the br1 arisaka carbine & rifle. it needs the fire rate increased from 62 (carbine) up to 72 (rifle), otherwise its will be mostly an unexciting gun for the already least played nation in the game.

the plane looks great but needs a severe buff as its currently sitting on br3 but is weaker than the br1 fighters. giving it a 250kg bomb would be perfect to make it at least a possible (though still weaker) alternative to the fw190-A8 on br3

also the ongoing event needs some additional prizes, the players are very disappointed about it

Should have been an event weapon you only get one or two of… however g98 wartime return from the last event balances this out.

Was this rifle found in a combat location like the Philippines/Okinawa or was it a strictly prototype lab made weapon found on mainland Japan when the US occupation authorities arrived?

Yeah. Pretty much all the new Japanese content they’re rolling out now are either field-modified weapons or one-off experimental prototypes. And we get four of them this time too.
Compared to the G98, whether it’s reload speed or fire rate, the gap is absolutely staggering once you put them side by side.
In our view, event weapons are supposed to be the strongest and most unique ones.
Battle Pass weapons can only be considered distinctive at best, yet this Japanese weapon completely outclasses Germany’s G98.

the gewehr warmod is a 19th century gun modified for ww1. it as basically as bad as it gets while still being useable in a ww2 game. there shouldnt be any new weapons added that are even remotely on its power level.

Gun is a solid alternative for it’s BR (if it retains the firerate and damage of the BR 1 Arisaka) Camouflages are all cool and it’s really good that nowadays we get the best unique soldier classes available so they aren’t already obsolete for veteran players.
Keep on going with that course.

that should be tt since type 96 have scope in past, not fully functional but it existed
