Friends, we are pleased to announce that Enlisted is almost ready to move into open beta-testing (OBT)! From April 8th, 2021 the game will be ready for new armies of players.
After the closed beta test is over, the game will get a content update. For example, the ‘Invasion of Normandy’ campaign will get the Browning M1918A2 machine gun and a legendary paratrooper FG 42 II assault rifle, as well as the American P-38 J fighter and the German Pz.IV H. tank. In the ‘Battle for Moscow’ campaign you’ll get the DP-27 machine gun, SVT-40 sniper rifles, the Gewehr 98 with scope mount, the PzB 39 anti-material gun, as well as SB-2M and Ju-87 R airplanes.
Both campaigns will get anti-tank landmines and other historically accurate weapons and vehicle models, as well as new missions. We will launch the reworked rewards, battle tasks, progress and logistics for squads and soldiers system. More about OBT content will be disclosed in following days in separate development blogs. We are grateful to all those who have supported Enlisted by purchasing founder packs with premium squads and exclusive weapons. They are still available for purchase until the end of CBT (8th of April). But you will not be able to buy them afterwards, as those squads will be forever exclusive only to those who have supported the game in the early stages.
Not only that, new premium squads will come. You can’t just invite all players to OBT and leave them without possibility to spend money on some P2W stuff.
Sure, I’m just worried that large group of players will not like “mobile game” type of monetisation. And if the first impression will fail, then Enlisted sadly will not succed. I really hope than devs actually red what we have disscused here and some changes will come, because this might be their last chance.
Well… this is screwed.
At this point when people will come into Enlisted and see literally everything being monetized and brand new system that might be even worse than previous one, we can kiss Enlisted goodbye.
This is sad news, indeed.
well, have a good one. see you maybe in about 3/4 years.
well, first i have to give a last feedback about the newer system when it will come out ( admitting that it’s not going to take me ages to get different equipments like the bandolier, and stuff like that )
I myself am so excited and hope that the allied engineer gets an allied mg nest model, I can’t wait for tank mines either…
As for p2W I bought all the founder packs for the campaigns, these are all in reserve now as too specialized for my approach, they just give a small advantage as to the specific LMG weapons, they are not on ps5, so please stop bad mouthing this brilliant game.
I for one, paid more money than the combined pack as a way of thanks.
Yes there are some tweaks to be made but that is what this forum is for, I’m sure devs will balance stuff out accordingly!
but it’s been years that we asked for quality of improvements, tweaks, balance to those premium weapons.
and all what we got, was an unecessary p2w nature system of a microtransaction.
problems and bugs since day 1 still occour now days despite almost 4<10 threads about it.
it’s far from being called open beta.
half of tech trees are missing. there’s quite much to talk about it.
and i’m afraid you don’t need to look deeply on what people thinks about this game.
that’s the issue.
it’s hard to see it when the issue of p2w it’s more big than the actual game.
Gameplay wise its issues can be partially ignored, but OBT will also require active monetization, not just “selection of few.” All of our feedback regarding current implemented monetization options was ignored (or at least we got no feedback from devs on that).
That makes us assume, that this mobile game hybrid is going in its full strength to greet public (new players and critics). Still feel good about it?
Because I do not.
