Axis paratroopers in the new battles pass weapon replacement idea

The FG-42 with a gl is a poor choice for the paratroopers as the Allie’s got a much more powerful LMG, This where I offer a handful of ideas on how to improve this balance

1: the mighty MG-08/18 a beautiful German LMG of the First World War, a rather fine and unique reward for this Battlepass vs another FG-42. It would easily balance out both sides as the FG-42 with a gl doesn’t match the vickers at all

2: a more realistic choice for a lighter powerful SMG, the Experimental German 08/18 Maxim SMG, Much more rewarding I would feel, due to it would be a poor gold order weapon

3: and my idea to balance out the Allie’s, The T11 Garand at least I think that was its name, if not it’s also known as “Winchester Experimental Mag-Fed Garands”

People please listen letting us be cursed with a grenade launcher is not the way to go

I would have done it like pacific, given brits the sexy lee enfield and germans a paratrooper kar98k or maybe a g43 or g41 variant.

If the development team did absolutely nothing to the request for +20 or 40 ammunition, do you think they will replace a weapon ? You could also request that the pz4 be able to fly. There is an equal chance that both requests will be fulfilled. This axis parachute theme should be let go. The developers/supporters or any official person has been silent, meaning they don’t care, and if they don’t care, nothing will happen.

Suggestions are suggestions, it was worth a shot

The T20 Garand?
it was a magazine fed Garand that could fire full auto.

That’s what I was thinking of! I couldn’t remember the name of it was the T11 or T20, thanks

So the m14 or the BM59?

Me too, it looks really cool.

Funny thing is, it’s in effect the same thing as a BAR, which is probably why it was never accepted into service.

Sort of.
The M14 is the older brother to the M1 and the T20 probably influenced the design of the M14.
I don’t know much about the BM59, but that was an Italian design based on the M1 (you probably already know that). The T20 might have influenced the design but the BM59 didn’t come out until 1959, more than a decade later. As far as I know, it was a completely Italian design, based on the M1.

I know that but the BM59 (alongside the m14) is the only decent automatic M1 withaut paper stats, in fact it was mass produced and used as standard rifle for the Italian army

That’s too good :joy::joy::joy:

And yeah the T20 and M14 are surprisingly similar but I don’t think it directly influenced the other. The M14 is basically a mashup of the M1 Garand, Carbine, and BAR.

The T20 probably influenced both designs, but both the M14 and the BM59 (created around the 50s) came WAY later than the T20 (created in 1945).

I made another topic citing other weapons collected from the drop like sniper and machine guns

Surprisingly the M1 carbine doesn’t share many similarities with the Garand.
The bullets are WAY smaller in the carbine. (there are a ton of other differences but I won’t list them)
For the M14, I don’t think the M1 carbine had much influence in its design, I think it was mostly a mashup of the M1 Garand and the BAR.

Also only a few M14s were full auto, and most were locked to semi-auto. The full auto ones were designated as squad automatic weapons.

As a gold order, it would be sweet.
