So far, we don’t have any pistol caliber sniper weapons in this game, and I just found these two interesting guns, an American scoped artillery Luger and a German C96 sniper carbine, here’s the information.
American Artillery Luger sniper carbine
After WW1, many commercial Luger P08s were sold to America, these commercial pistols were in 7.65 Parabellum (7.65x21mm) caliber or the 9mm Parabellum (9×19mm).As one of the importers, Pacific Arms Corporation tried to customize these commercial Lugers during the 20s.According to their catalog from 1924, they made a artillery Luger with a 16 inch barrel and a 22 mm Hensoldt scope.
The barrel is available for both calibers.
Even though this is the only one picture of this gun, we do have other pictures of Luger with 16 inch barrel and the scope.

Scope(Hensoldt-Wetzlar Ziel-Dialyt 2.75x. 22mm)
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the exact reticle of this scope, but I think it’s okay to give it the classic German #1 reticle, because it’s one of the oldest scope reticle types in the world.
I couldn’t find any information about the mounting system either, however, the scope mount itself looks very similar to the classic DL-44 Blaster Pistol from Star Wars.
C96 sniper carbine
This type of experimental carbine(7.63x25mm)were produced around 1900,only 30 were made by Mauser. This one with scope wasn’t installed by the Mauser factory, but was added by the gun smith.
The barrel is 11.8 inch, which is shorter than the trench carbines during WW1.

Scope(Karl Kahles 2.5x)
This scope is from Kahles, an Austrian optics manufacturer, it was founded in 1898.
Actually, I couldn’t find the exact same scope of this C96 carbine. The reason I guess it’s a 2.5x scope is because it’s quiet similar to other 2.5x scopes from Kahles. Therefore, the 2.5x scope would be the best choice for this gun.

POV
The major flaw of this weapon is that it doesn’t have detachable magazine , so the reload speed would be very slow.
To solve this problem, I suggest that you can choose not to mount the scope during the game just like grenade launcher.
There is a button on the side of rear scope mount, you can just remove the scope by pushing it, it takes about 1-2 seconds.
In my opinion, these guns are not just unique, they are also very meaningful, because both were made during the peace era( Interwar period and pre-WW1 )
