Aren’t the medic AI supposed to run around healing friendlies that are in need of it? I haven’t seen them do it once in my forays into Stalingrad or the Pacific

What I love the most is when I’m bleeding out, taking 8 seconds to heal, while a friendly medic stands idle 2m from me…

Never implemented, some asked for such feature but it was largely vetod by the community fearing that AI would just walk into enemy fire.
Deploying medic crates does the job very well though, AI automatically grabs one if it happens to be near by so be sure to drop as many as you can in capture points.

Its not like they don’t already lemming into gunfire as is. It’d at least be for a productive reason now

I am totally against it.
I have to deal with my ai squad like leading headless chickens without that feature.
If medics have that skill default,they will just scatter around and get killed by enemies easily.

Yeah the loading screen says they do but Ive never seen it happen or got points for it.

they do,
but only when out of combat, or holding objectives.
meaning that attackers, if anyone, will be the ones to least encounter medics that heals. ( unless they stand still )
also, it appears medics ai only heals rather than get people up on their feet when downed.

I don’t get them doing it at all
They are just another Assaulter squad, dressed with medic uniform placeholders. Medic box is just almost unusable.

Problem is when the dumb medic… Is player controlled.
Yes, it happened to me times and again. Fools forget all the xp and team help they can do, apparently keeping the “ape with smg!!!” mindset…

Probably not, it’s true.
Because as the last dev post showed, it’s crazy how many ppl just go brainless and only want to cycle smgs after smgs after smgs (the uproar about 2 max of one type o squad).
This, combined with our experience, just shows that…
… Most players are just too stupid to do anything else than zerg ahead while spraying. Medic class is too complicated for them… 
Sad, cause it’s a really fun class, and really helpful, too.

Tbh any actual usage of medics outside of that?
I mean the bots want to die. Placing a medic crate is more than enough.
