Apparently veterans are stacking Allies BR III (or Allies in general, but certainly BR III included) for the Monte Cassino event, so that’s why. Should be back to normal after tomorrow when it ends.
I’ve been doing my part and counter-balancing, doing the MG mission with Brens (uptiered) and Lewis Guns (blind as a bat, even when the sight isn’t bugged)… maybe a Charlton for fun (still uptiering myself)…
My experience today as germany is that i am br2 without everything filled out yet (some guys with only 1 grenade, not everyone with br2 guns yet, most guns at 1 or 0 stars, etc) but get up-tiered to br3 every game, so…
Cool, can we please, please get a better stabbing animation for bayonets? For the love of g0d its so bad right now. It sucks when you’re trying to stab a guy on the floor ant it never works. You just stand there trying to stab him and it just misses and you get yourself killed.
I think the beretta M38A and the Type 99 rifle animations some of the bolt actions have this weird hang time between shot like the Type 99 rifle where the soldier cycle then holds the bolt open for a second then closes it like huh?
Tho right to make a small list Beretta M38A, Type 99 sniper/rifle, TZ-45, M3 grease gun suppressed and maybe the other models and the M1A1 bc the current state it looks weird with how smooth the para version is also remove the pointless off screen reloads in Crsed the PTRD-41 and 42 is clearly visible to the camera move the animation up a little
That the average player in Enlisted sucks, and that the top 10% are dominating, and depending on how they play factions, most matces becomes unbalanced in terms of good players.

now that’s a proper Bipod mechanic, realistic, looks good and functional.
Enlisted’s is shit, I mean lay flat on ground and use bipod and you see F all

When they announced animation changes I was expecting new ones for soldiers movement with rigging based on motion capture. This doesn’t look to be it…so that is kind of disappointing…
I don’t really care about reload animations personally, though other people seem to do, even though there are some terrible ones like loading the Arisaka snipers one bullet at a time. But whatever.
What I did care about was the animations for holding the weapon while running and sprinting from first person view.
The current ones are not bad whatsoever. They used to be better in the beta for both holding the weapon and while running.
But these new ones they are intending to implement are complete trash.
The MG one:
If you look at the soldier’s left hand, his wrist is twisted and he also only grips the barrel hand guard with only the base of the thumb plus the index and middle finger.
Who holds and 11.6kg MG like that? …and with the barrel down?
It is not a 100g piece of polystyrene, it is a heavy piece of steel. Are you guys serious?
Since it is very heavy, it needs a solid grip, from under the barrel which means it won’t be held with the barrel downwards, but either horizontal or upwards. Not only would it twist the crap out of your left hand’s wrist, but it would result in a lose grip with only 3 fingers (like in your animation). You definitely don’t want that thing dropping and hitting your knees while running. Do you guy do ANY research in advance?
The pistol animation while sprinting looks ok-ish, though the soldier seems like is running with a limp. It’s like he sprained his left ankle.
The Mosin one, which would be general for all rifles:

It’s “hop-hop” slop copied from Battlefield 6. Running animations in BF6 are terrible and look like soldiers are hopping around all over the place and in a very cartoonish manner.
The weapon swings side to side while running, not with the barrel up and down unless you’re hopping
Why would you bring that crap in Enlisted when you already have good animations? Maybe some developer is playing BF6 cause Enlisted’s shooter experience is so terrible, and thought it was a good idea to copy that here.
I wanted to be positive and was looking forward for new animations, but i can’t when i see good quality stuff be replaced with low quality.
What puzzles me is how in nearly two years you still didn’t realize how much damage you did to the shooter experience with this change in 2024.
Do you not see?
how much additional lateral movement it induces
how much wobble it induces
how much it shifts the body position several times
…and all of this simply from the turning animation.
Excuse me for laying it like this, but you guys seem very disconnected with the game’s issues.
Couple this with:
poor scripts for moving objects on terrain (soldiers included) which results in floaty and wobbly and glidy behavior
with suttering
with poor AI scripts that make it constantly move for no reason and no purpose, other that to move gratuitously just so that they don’t stand still
AI faking movement, just briefly leaning forward or lateral but not moving
stutter turning and turning in a arc path
constant moving and stopping generated from the squad formation matrix
and with completely erratic and unpredictable movement
…and you get this tragedy of a shooter experience
No wonder some devs are playing Battlefield 6.
Any word on those sound mods?

Well, just last night i go back to BR5 to try the Mondragón, its good for the rifleman, but the general team…, i did make a relatively good match in terms of points and kills, but we where wiped out in 3 of five matchs i have, after running out of reinforcement i see a lot of teammates with BR1-2 gear, and this is happening a lot recently, for some reason now you can end from BR2-3 to BR3-4-5 , so BR3 is in a dead end at the moment, also some ex BR5 guns now in BR4 are just too strong for BR3-4
Theres a lot of people with panzer 3/4, semoventes or directly planes with not bombs in BR5, i mostly use the BF110 G2 to kill tanks but i leave it after two strikes since you know… Jets are here and there and the Big Cat 2 is not too good for open maps either
Well the worst really are the Tiger II and Panther players its the only faction that they destroy their own spawn points with their tanks and push you APC with their tanks so they can go and get killed. Not only they prevent you from playing but care only about some score while build nothing xD They drive apcs off the road destroy their spawn points the moment you see a BR IV or BR V German tanker you know this guy will care nothing about the team. And then are the pilots that are just clueless. Really if I got to pick the worst vehicle players its BR IV and BR V is Germany they often destroy more friendly structures then the enemy. If there is a faction that deserves to be rocket and carped bombed its BR IV and BR V Germany.
By the way, regarding sprint animations. Has this latest animation update added new motions for the entrenching tool that’s been in the game since launch? Historically, entrenching tools could be used for charging, lunging and slashing attacks.
