Animation improvements

Please position further from the head in first person, they all look like the soldier is holding them right in the face, and sometimes the reload or recoil moves the gun off screen because of this.

(Do you mean adding the animation of unscrewing the cap and pulling the safety pin for German stick grenades? I have seen this detail in Hell Let Loose, Squad and 1944.)

Liking the new TnT animation! Nice!

Oh I get it. You mean soldiers should be able to run freely with arms swinging after pulling the grenade safety pin, instead of staying in the ready aiming posture all the time. What’s more, players can only move at an extremely slow walking speed in this posture. I think players should only extend their arms to aim when holding right click. Otherwise, you can’t keep up with moving tanks once the pin is pulled. For this reason, grenades can mostly only be thrown at stationary or slow-moving vehicles.

THIS! And only this kind of updates (like sounds, animations, voices, music) should be made in the future. Sure, some event things, weapons and so on for sure. But the focus should be on the overall quality.

Great news!

Some players say the running rifle stance in the game uses modern holding postures instead of authentic WWII ones, which looks rather unnatural. Is this true?

It is certainly true for the pistols at least. Holding the pistols with both hands is a modern thing, everyone was holding and shooting pistols and revolvers with a single hand back then. Unless they fitted a buttstock to the pistol to turn it into a small carbine of course.

Oh right, I totally forgot. Body armor didn’t exist back in WWII, so soldiers usually fired sideways to narrow their hit profile. Nowadays with body armor, people focus more on aiming straight.

So should we suggest adding one-handed side-stance animations for hip-firing pistols? Or make players lean sideways even when aiming down sights?

I argee with the M95 Mannlicher. I think to could also receive a model update in my opinion.

It would also be good if all machine gun belts worked when shooting both on armored vehicles and on older handguns, otherwise the animations are great in advance :+1:t2: and some rifles need to be rechecked for loading animations

yes exactly like today modern as you say before the hand acts :+1:t2:

there is still such a thing sometimes it’s like a dragon when I want to immediately run with a bayonet while reloading but he cuts himself off, reloads and runs it would be good if he immediately dropped the bullets and immediately ran with a bayonet attack

Browning Auto 5. Its bolt is cocked no matter how many rounds left in the tube, this is unrealistic and it’s gameplay - impacting, rendering it practically a less useful shotgun than pump actions which don’t have this problem.

It would be nice if they could make staged reload animations like in Darktide

Yes exactly

This is what I was referring to, thanks heaps

Please reduce the reload speed; don’t make the soldiers reload at lightning speed, especially when reloading a bazooka.

Maybe a wire animation for the M1 and M9 bazooka.

If we are getting new reload animation, can you also fix the bug when a soldier reloads an empty magazine? It’s most annoying in a firefight reloading an empty mag.

The browning auto 5 also needs a moving barrel to be animated upon shooting.
