Allow collectable squads to use different weapons

As stated in the title, collectable squad are squads that have TT weapons which can’t be replaced with a different one. Two examples is the normandy German paratroopers engineer squad with the Gewehr 41and the U.S.A Assault squad with the M50 Resin, both of these squads in the past were able to have thoer weapons switched to a different one. Especially the German paras since they could use SMGs. Unfortunately the devs patch this.
Now what I’m suggesting is simple

  1. for us to be able to swap out thier TT weapons for ones
  2. Allow these squads, (although this mainly applies for the german para engineers squad) to be able to use any weapons, besides Anti tank launchers, flamethrowers, AT rifles, Morder rifles, and Sniper rifles.
    Thus concludes our topic.

This has always been a dumb restriction.

If it’s a weapon used by paratroopers, then it can’t be arbitrarily restricted; but this doesn’t apply to other soldier classes, as it concerns game balance.

When did I say anything about paratroopers? While yes the soviets have two with changeable weapons, they should be restricted to smgs and such.

If premium squads could change weapons before, they should be able to now, and paratroopers should be treated the same, since paid squads are different from regular squads.

Collectable squads still come with the 100% premium bonus and premium squad slot advantages so IMO they are fine as they are, the only change I would actually like to see is giving the same amount of soldiers and specialists as TT squads.

I have always been an advocate that if “YOU” pay for it, “YOU” should be able to have the right to change the weapons. It not only allows you to change the weapon if you hate the existing one, but allows you to use that squad in ANY BR level you need, not just the level Gaijin restricts you to. Some of us buy and own a lot of premium and event squads, and it would be nice if we could use them all, instead of having some sit unused because it happens to be in a BR level that Gaijin over saturated with premium squads. Sure, we don’t have to buy them, but I am sure Gaijin would prefer we do, so, throw us a bone Gaijin and stop treating them like they are some kind of rare jewel.

I’ve said it once I’ll say it again, having rocket artillery squads as well as the Soviet paratroopers being able to swap weapons but none of the other squads have the ability is the stupidest restriction.

If they have a tech tree weapon I think they should be able to swap it no matter what squad it is.
