The best reason to remove the prone penalty from the 3/18 is to provide an alternative. The Win-Mar and M2 are two such guns that could compete with the s/18 with the prone intact or without any of the guns having the requirement. i am working on an alternative for the ussr as i am sick of the complaints. a 5 round bolt action cannot compete with a ten round semi auto unless it requires prone firing. either weapon would of course be br1 event weapons.

Once again I’ll ask, what’s the penetration? the devs going to invent?

The Winchester-Williams anti-tank rifle , developed in 1943, was an American prototype designed to penetrate tank armor. It utilized the .50 BMG cartridge , which was effective against lighter targets but struggled against modern tank armor, which typically exceeds 25mm in thickness. The rifle was tested by the Canadian military and performed well, but the program was canceled due to the end of World War II, and only one of these rifles is believed to have been produced.

so better then the boys 23mm
