If the HE power will be the same even in a lower BR , the infantry problem would even not be solved much.

And uh yes… firepower almost does mean everything… if not then we can get nashorn in 3… which i am not opposed to mind you.

Vitality doesn’t matter when throwing grenades or tnt packs, it’s more about speed and dexterity

I think I am starting to understand what you are trying to say. You are saying that moving the 76mm shermans to BR3 would not do much because normal infantry can equip tnt and explosive packs? So your agreeing with me? Even then I dont see how that would make moving it to BR3 not helpfull.

A Tank LMG in caliber .30-06 Springfield does a lot more damage than a 9.mm Luger round in reallity.

-76 sherman has 50% less efective HE(anti infantry round).
-Infantry make up 90% of tank combat.
-76 sherman worse than 75 sherman in 90% of cases.
-However it is much better than the 75 sherman in the 10% tank cases because it doenst have to flank.
-Therefore 76 sherman is a sidegrade to the 75 not an upgrade. Which means it should go to BR3.
Explosive packs, tnt charges, and tank MGs doing the same damage as pistols are topics for another day.
(Also TNT packs and TNT charges have a much lower radius than tank HE and cant be used at range)
I think in the game its more about 70% less than the 75.mm He.
Than a 10 -20 % HE buff would not be bad.
