In History the the 76 Shermans was a late ww2 tank if it would in br3 it would be less historical accurate same with the Jumbos.
I think the Panzer 4 He should be buffed a bit as well, like the sherman maybe to 10-20%.
I think with the merge it is impossible to make enlisted Historical.

No, the HE in game for the 75 and 76 is realistic, compared to each other at least. It matches up one to one almost for how it realy preformed. The 76 HE is and always was around 50% less efective than the 75s.

I think in the game the Sherman 76 He is arround 70% less efective.
The 75 mm He of the Sherman is a real monster in that game its so super easy to kill a half dozen soldiers with it one shot.
About Historical after my knowledge there wherent 76 Shermans in Nort Africa campaign against the Germans.
With the Merge its impossible to be Historical.
But in North africa on the end of the campaign thee existed Tiger 1 tanks what are in the game Br 4 or Br5.

High Vatallity Perk soldiers can exist in all Batlle Ratings than the anti infantry problem would not be much reduced.
The soldiers durability dont really change in lower BR.

This reads like a proposal written by someone who only ever plays one side of the game.
You’ve argued for a full BR reduction across the entire 76mm Sherman line by grading them on a single stat — HE effectiveness — while brushing aside the fact that the 76mm’s penetration is the one thing that lets the US actually contest Panthers and Tigers. That’s not a “sidegrade,” Just trading one role for a much more important one.
And here’s the question your post never once stops to ask: what do you take the rest of the playerbase for? The Axis players at BR II–III who’d suddenly have to face down-tiered 76 Shermans they can barely penetrate — do their games just not count? Down-tiering isn’t a favor to the devs, it’s a bill handed to every non-US player at those BRs: M4A2 (76) becomes the best BR III tank in the game, M10/M18 become obsolete, and the 76 Jumbo breaks BR IV. The only reason to still push this after all that is faction favoritism.

Wouldnt it be just easier to buff the HE of 76mm shells in a way?
Just so that they are still effective against infantry or at least can also fill an anti-infantry role as much as other BR IV tanks, just not as good as the 75mm howitzer cannon at its role.

I guess the OP isn’t going to engage with this, because this argument never mattered to them. The logic of the whole proposal has been “stronger tank, lower BR,” and a fragile TD like the Achilles is just collateral noise to that goal. Whether it stays, moves, or gets deleted outright is irrelevant to the conclusion his already decided on.

In regard to the rockets on the caliope, i believe they are a weak point. Unless my info is old, they could be shot and detonated. If thats still true, it could be moved to br3

If you dont know what your talking about just say so. No 76 shermans have any more armor than their 75 counterparts. And for your info I play just as much axis than allies. Im not sure if the same is true for you.

No, because that not historicle. Its much better to give players the option that real regiments had.
All I can say is that is does some weird stuff and the 88 cant pen it. I dont know how exactly.
