the idea is simple
Advanced engineers have reinforced buildings which make them take longer to rip down and to destroy
BL Base engineers would have bunkers and much more solid defences tho these are far more resistant they also provide a spawn area for units and much more and are the hardest defences there’s a reason for the name tho
these engineers are meant for back line spine of the army their defences are the strongest and have some added bonuses like mp units which guard the defences around a outpost but they take a huge sum of time to build mostly for defence but can be key units to help hold something for a longer time

you could also give advanced and blb engineers trench lines but idk if thats something the devs would be interested in

I like where your minds at, I like playing engineers and support type classes. I also wish multiple engineers could build the same object, like three building a Pak in a hurry, or MG.
My issue with this is that the unit would be literally useless for attacking nations to run since they would take too long to build the defenses. This would encourage you to pay money to have more squads so the effect would actually be useful. I also worry about this removing a decent amount of units (how ever many are building said defenses) from the front and practically guaranteeing a loss of that point. I think its a decent idea but the biggest issue is that it doesn’t work well (in my opinion) with current game design.
i mean,
you could apply this idea to the Enginners Type 2. which are a thing.
exept, they don’t come with new features.
but perhaps with this post, they might become a thing.
i suggest you too add more details and perhaps, pictures.
because this suggestion on it’s own, it’s a bit generalized.

In my opinion matches are too short to add more complex entrenchment system.
Also things like bunkers wouldn’t be build under fire in the combat zone by guys with shovels.

These things exist in strategic type games, or operational/large tactical - most of them really have no place in Enlisted IMO.

What’s stopping backline engineers from building forward? Build time?
But I would like to see a separation of fortification engineers and true combat engineers who specialize in demolition.
Bangalore torpedos would be immersive and have a good role.

My only concern is what happens if, in a game of 10 people, 4 spawn in with this squad. On an invasion gamemode the assaulting team would just run over the defenders. Also it would be in a tough position if you brought it in an offensive map. Not wholly useless but just awkward.
Great idea though I hope we get something similar.
I think that it would be very interesting to incentivize leveling and bringing engineers to the fight. Perhaps giving them build loadouts to choose from before the game starts. We know we can build the mg nest, aa gun, at gun, c-wire, tank traps etc. But what about making other things researchable such as a more durable wall (reinforced wall), double or triple strand c-wire instead of single, larger sandbag stacks, the ability to shore up windows or doors when inside a building, the sandbag emplacements that are rounded with peek holes, etc. Additionally, i feel like some sort of building material recovery from destroyed vehicles could potentially be interesting. Like salvaging a coax or top mounted machine gun in order to build a new mg nest. Additionally, I think have a sapper tech tree or hybrid class has some merit. Engineers geared toward destruction of enemy emplacements. They could have a faster destruction time of sandbags, spawn points, aa/at guns, etc. access to bangalores or magnetic at mines, and potentially even bundle grenades. Even utilizing the axe that is already in game as an engineer destruction tool would be cool. Just a few late night thoughts.

The engineer in the game is underused, he needs the recognition he deserves. In addition to this fantastic idea, to leave on the radar for future updates.

2.1 Players if eliminated by the enemy will only be able to return to the game in respaw point
Improvements:
A) This will change the dynamics of the game and no one will go into battle without having an engineer in the game or squad
B) Nobody goes to battle without having an engineer
C) The engineer function to have the recognition it deserves
So you play with a dumb team that doesn’t know how to build good rally points and their rally point radius prevent you from building one in a good spot, then theirs get destroyed so you can’t respawn and your team immediately loses? Yeah no thanks.

You mean for lone soldier?
In “Lone Fighers” mode when you play together in a fire team (squad) when you are killed to return to the game, just respaw one of the squad players, right? It is this option that you want to be blocked
My suggestion for a future update is that once you have been killed, to respaw you will have to be born in the rally point placed by the engineer.

Each engineer can install 2 rally points instead of 1, but that they have a minimum distance of 100 meters from each other

Yeah no. In no way you should ever be blocked from respawning normally, as then people will just destroy the rally points.
not fully true as they could have a offence style as well or make these buildings claimable if you stay in them for x amount of time this way after you take down say 3-4 mp units you then send your units or stay in them for say 1 min and you claim them for your side meaning offence wouldn’t need them
i generalised it because i always felt as a person who plays a lot of support the support currently feels really weak sauce in turn I suggested these tho if people have any ideas I’m more then willing to change the first post to these new things
since much has changed in 2 years, i might suggest you to create entirely a new one and provide what you didn’t included.
