Adoption of the Gewehr 43

In late April 1943, the Germans adopted a new semi-automatic rifle, an improvement on the Gewehr 41’s design, the Gewehr 43. The rifle was later renamed to Karabiner 43, because it was more fitting.

From April 29th (13:00 UTC) to May 5th (13:00 UTC), you can get rewards for completing tasks.

A cool Axis event with a unique gun, instead of a reskinned Soviet tech tree gun in a politically themed event. Is it opposite day today?

Good heavens, this is a good reward.

I wish they would give away 4 of these Gewehr 43 guns

I would have also liked this image as a reward at the event; it’s beautiful.

That together with gewehr 43 kurz is increasing the fun & spice levels for br5 germany for sure.
Getting scoped solothurns in the next month would be great.
