The Fw 190 F-8 was the fighter bomber variant of the FW190 A-8, It removed the two 20mm’s in the wings to allow for more payload options. It was widely used from it’s creation date onwards seeing lots of action especially in hungary 1944.
Germany now only has either bf-109’s with a few 50kg’s or heavy fighters/attackers with bigger loadouts. For some reason the fw190-D12. A plane more focused on dogfighting gets the bigger attacker bomb loadout coming with 4x50kg and 1x250kg bomb.
So propose that the FW-190 F-8 is added for BR III seeing as the P51-D5 already gets 2x500lb bombs apart from being a good fighter at BR III and that the soviets get rocket spam.
The F-4 through F-7 sub-variants did not progress beyond the testing phase, making the F-8 the next sub-variant to enter mass production. Based on the Fw 190 A-8 airframe, the F-8 replaced the two fuselage-mounted 7.92 mm MG 17 machine guns with more powerful 13 mm MG 131s, each with an ammunition capacity of 475 rounds. Some F-8 units were fitted with a new bulged canopy, which gave the pilot greater freedom of movement while also improving visibility of the ground—a crucial factor in ground-attack missions. To compensate for the steadily increasing take-off weight, the wing structure of the F-8 was also reinforced in the area of the landing gear.

Based on the A-8 Fighter, having a slightly modified injector on the compressor which allowed for increased performance at lower altitudes for several minutes. Armament of the Fw 190 F-8 was two 20 mm MG 151/20 cannon in the wing roots and two 13 mm (0.51 in) MG 131 machine guns above the engine. It was outfitted with an ETC 501 Bomb rack as centerline mount and four ETC 50 bomb racks as underwing mounts.[citation needed ]

long range Jabo, fitted with underwing V.Mtt-Schloß shackles to hold two of the Luftwaffe’s standardized 300 L (79 US gal) drop tanks. ETC 503 bomb racks were also fitted, allowing the Fw 190 F-8/U1 to carry one SC 250 bomb under each wing and one SC 250 bomb on the centreline.
Anything but max ordnance would waste its potential so neutering THE CAS version for the FW 190 just to fit into a lower BR is plain wastefull.
They could give it a truck load of bombs, even bigger bombs, Panzerblitz or X4 rockets but you want to go with only 2x 250kg bombs? That sound more like a waste to me.
panzerblitz for the wing and a centerline 500 kg bomb kinda like a P 47 but for the axis. Obviously at Br 5. If they want they could also reduce it to 250kg only if that would be more fair.
