Add T-54 mod.45 for BR5 USSR tech tree

What exactly was “prototype numbers”?

Once again: Tiger 2 was used in WW2. T-44 was not used in WW2.

Only by your definition, and only because I’m not going to scour the entire internet looking for more evidence.

It was definitely apart of ww2 though. Here’s a fun fact for you.

489 Tiger IIs, were produced at the Henschel assembly plant, …

T44
By the end of 1944, 25 were built, which was far below the earlier optimistic estimate of 300 tanks. 940 additional units were built in 1945.Nov 11, 2017

(Ww2 database)

Just shy of twice the amount of king tigers

But, with manchuria war ending late august we can round down to around 650 units assuming they were produced at an equal rate. Which is still more than king tiger numbers

I’m really not sure why you’re trying to argue against my personal preference.

Which is:

When I want to play Battle of Berlin, I want to see T-34-85, Pz IV, Panther, IS-2 and other equipment which a soldier could potentially see during that time.

I, once again personally, don’t want to play Battle of Berlin and see an army of Chinese with PPSh S, AF, AS, RD, Su-9 1946 and T-44.

I get it, but how you want it, isn’t fair with how the game is set up. Case and point. If it was your way, with the current game mechanics, it would be ridiculous. Not many people want to play that version. But hey, maybe the game will get another redesign in the future. Who knows.

I actually really liked the campaign model myself

This is a suggestion thread, hence I am expressing my vote and opinion.

And I’m happy to see I’m part of a 74% majority here

Bro, Germany had more Tiger II tanks (492) than US had Jumbo tanks (~250) and Pershing tanks deployed in Europe (~200) combined.

Im not sure what all the vote was actually for or how it was worded. I’ll rephrase though. No one is going to want to play an opposing team to germany if it was your way, WITH current game mechanics. It would be a shit show and a total curb stomp with no mechanics resembling real life.

The event with russia fighting japan showcased this. No one wanted to play japan willingly and they had to force players to do so.

I have been playing Enlisted on all factions and all BRs since 2020 and never even bothered to unlock AS, AF, RD, Autohei, Tokyo SMG, T20, Hyde 44, Hori or Su-9 1946.

Been doing just fine and having a good time.

What’s your point?

…that doesn’t say a whole lot when the rest of your team is using those things. Again, russia vs japan event is actual data backing my claim. Guess you could get a clan match going where both teams are full of good players, germany gets all top tier shit with no restrictions, russia gets “HA” equipment and see how it goes. Would be interesting at the very least

Stop claiming Axis is swimming in protos, it has the least out of the 4 factions.
I usually wouldn’t care, but it bugs me since you are trying to justify more protos with that.

Lol, chill. I never said anything like that. I said they get to use things that had prototype numbers. Which went into a whole other point about the t44 not being welcomed to the game which had more units produced than tiger2 during ww2

Low numbers would be more correct, almost everything (ppsh obrez and a few others are arguable) in Axis TT were officially adopted into service.
Even MG81Z or Armaguerra 39 which saw fairly little use was an official thing thus saw use.

Veekay is right, T-44 was not used.
Still Im grounded in reality so I will agree that lack of official use is not an issue anymore.
Type Hei auto, T20 ect are all anachronistic prototypes so a tank like T-44 is only a matter of time to be added.

And whats your deal anyways? Me and veekay were having a fine discussion, then you wanna butt in trying to start shit without even reading my messages. You only come here because you saw the blue x on thread and thought I’ll go see if it’s bandit and give em some more shit?

You are on a forum, anyone is free to comment on your discussion.

Apparently there are SOME records of it being used in manchuria. But I’m not about to go waste the time looking for them

The bad thing is the existence of pay to win vehicles and squads, I’ll spell it out more clearly next time.

And as I have stated before, in the hypothetical situation where the devs add the T-54 into the game the negative gameplay and moral consequences of putting the strongest Soviet tank, an extremely important pivotal point in game balance for them, behind an event or paywall would be far worse than the negative effect to thematics that making a prototype equipment more common thanks to it being in the tech-tree.

Not sure I can agree on that point. The King Tiger has better protection and firepower (at least in the context of a tank duel, against infantry there is a debate to be had) than the T-44. While the latter does have better mobility the nature of gameplay in Enlisted significantly curtails one’s ability to actually take advantage of that. Trying to pull the kind of flanks you would see in War Thunder generally results in you getting dangerously close to enemy infantry and far away from friendlies.

The Jadgtiger would be almost comically overpowered if added into the game, you would need to give even the T-44-100 postwar APDS or HEAT ammunition for them to be able to frontally penetrate them.
