It’s almost 2026—who on earth is still using squads without an Engineer?
Everyone knows the Engineer is crucial in Enlisted. If a squad can’t build a spawn point, it’s practically useless in the game. Those legacy nine-man Rifleman squads should be upgraded to include Engineers and AT Gunner soldiers, just like the Liu rifle squads and all current premium and event squads.
This is a duplicate suggestion.
By the way, unless developers can allow people to choose whether to accept changes in squad members, I would oppose replacing any squad soldiers.
Consumers should have a clear understanding of what service they are purchasing (in this case, 9 riflemen) at the time of purchase, and developers should not fundamentally change the content being sold.
This has nothing to do with whether I need those soldiers or not, it belongs to the rules of commodity trading.
Very important suggestion
Nine individuals are pure-blooded rifle soldiers.
It is entirely a historical legacy issue from the ancient times.
Now that we are in a new era, these problems can be completely solved.
duplicate suggestion, emmmm,More proposals will resonate with and gather feedback from more people, which could potentially get the suggestion onto the update schedule sooner, right? Isn’t that exactly what we, the core players who want Enlisted to improve, hope to see? Also, you mentioned the “rules of commodity trading”—doesn’t the developers’ allowance for premium squads to add regular soldiers violate this rule you spoke of? How many real players do you actually see in matches using the squads I mentioned above? If you do see them, do you think they would choose those squads if they had other options? The nine Riflemen squads are already obsolete; it’s time for an update.
Since Chinese event squad already has bruh engineer and AT soldiers. To implement this is necessary. As those squads are currently powercrept and outdated.
When developers decided to add AT soldiers to MG, assault, and engineer squads, some questioned why the same couldn’t be done to radio squads.
The response received was that 5 members are already the maximum number for the radio squad and they should not receive additional AT soldiers. The same principle applies to premium rifleman squads.
Without changing the number of soldiers, I guess most people, even 99%, wouldn’t mind replacing a radioman with an AT soldier…But this is not an option
Because the service content you purchased is clear, the composition of the squads is the essential attribute of the goods you purchased, and they are protected by rules and laws.
The TT soldiers you added for old assault squad were not included in the content you purchased, but it didn’t violate or change the content you purchased, which is very crucial.
How to avoid these
The simplest way is to provide another updated squads for free to players who have already purchased the old ones, but this will reduce profits.
Allowing players to choose whether to accept soldier replacement is also feasible, but it requires additional work.
PS: I have no objection to changing the Japanese event rifleman squad, because it does not involve actual transactions.
I am referring to the M3A1mod squad in this sentence. I don’t like the practice of developers repeatedly releasing new squad that is technically the same squad as the old one.
All nine man rifle squads should have the “OPTION” of changing one or two players to either an engineer, Radioman or AT assaulter dude. I own a few premium nine man squads, and it would be nice to have that option. By changing the premium squads to have this option, it does not change anything for those who bought the squads and want to leave them as a pure nine man rifle squad.
