with the event giving russia a scoped ptrsd 41 the solothurn should receive its dedicated optic as its clunky nature makes it hard to use the scope would give this beast some much needed range and help keep parity between ussr and germany. it should just be added as a buyable option like the mentioned ptrsd

Not so fast. It was the standard issue “sniper rifle” of the Hungarian army during WW2 and frankly, their only sniper rifle of the war.
It would unforgivable if such a weapon was wasted as limited event weapon as counter to the scoped PTRS AT rifle.
Also, it should come with Hungarian ammo which had worse penetration.

in game its a battle pass weapon for germany being a br 2 at gun you have to fire either prone or mounted with its missing optic you are forced to get kinda close and are imobile and its massive blocking the entire right half of the screen its scope would be a great addition to it making it feel much nicer to use
the abilty to field a Hungarian squad would be bonkers. Just need a rifle.
Just so we are clear; the Solothurn we have in game is already using hungarian ammo. the penetration was increased by 50% to compensate for the bipod mechanic
