Since when something like that mattered for Enlisted? This has never been a relevant factor. Literally just cherry picked historical detail to justify irrational copypaste. Nothing more, nothing less.

I’m against copy paste in the form of giving every faction an Ofenrohr as that makes no sense, but if a faction literally used that gun in the THOUSANDS then I support copypaste in that instance
I think Germany should also get Colt 1911s (as an event pistol) as occupied Denmark produced over 8,000 licensed copies of the 1911 for Germany too. See here for info about the Danish Kongsberg Colt

That seems fair. But would the stats of the Danish colt be the same as the current one, and would it look the same with some slight differences?
I’m afraid I only know Swedish weaponry to the degree where I could answer what cartridges were used off-hand.

I would like to see M1911 added to Soviets first though, Russian Empire purchased 51 000 then USSR got 13 000 more under lend-lease.
Also a Mauser C96 variant like some Astra 900 for Allies as well, just so I can give them to my Chinese troops.

There were some UK contract 1911s for WW1 too, I believe. And, Commonwealth officers purchased their pistols privately, and could in theory be of any model or make. Not that anything needs to change with the game to add those, they share a faction with the US after all.
It would basically function the same but it would have different factory markings due to being locally produced in Denmark

I have no idea how many C96 pistols ended up with the red army, but it was their most common or second most common sidearm before TT-33 was adopted.
Many Russian officers carried them before the First World war broke, it was common even during Russian civil war.
Many were secretly sold to USSR in the 20s and 30s, in fact the Mauser produced or modernised C96 guns made in 20s and early 30s were dubbed “bolo” after Bolsheviks, thats how many of them got exported to USSR.
I thought their supply was only about 35k, but I don’t know my Soviet weaponry.

Actually, its Germans that have the Soviet C96.
The short barrel “bolo” C96 did get captured by Axis troops, but the most common was the M712 schnellfeuer (already event 
) but Mauser M16 (red 9, chambered in 9x19) or Astra 900 could be added to Axis.
