Add bayonets to the Mkb42(H) AND Mkb42(W)

The Mkb42 H (and the W) both have bayonet lugs but it is impossible to attach a bayonet.

Just give them a bayonet already. This is so stupidly overdue and should have been done years ago.

This would not make them OP in the slightest, but perhaps give BR5 players a reason to consider what assault rifle to use instead of automatically choosing the STG44

i think the mkb42 should have the same handling stats as the stg44 and stay in BR5 so people either choose between higher ROF or a bayonet, would make the meta more interesting

And the FG 42.

its funny the FG42 already is modelled with a bayonet in this game, its just folded inward

I removed my key binding for melee attacks years ago, I think bayonets are overrated - outside of their hidden small recoil reduction, which should get removed from the game.

What do you do all game just sit at the back sniping.

I use my gun, what type of a question is that?

Bayonet charging is a nice extra speed boost to make it to cover, though

What’s especially funny is that the AS-44, AF, AVT-40-20, and AVS-36-20—which are essentially experimental prototypes—have a bayonet, while the actual serial production models don’t.

I suggested this on the Ru forum a few months ago. I think it was supposed to be passed on to the developers.

Actually- does anyone here have an opinion on the old gold order Mkb42 W? It has got its RPM increased recently, but only played with it a tiny bit. Now the the general AR accuracy buff I was wondering if is any good.

The recoil direction stat is 0.5 for the Mkb42(W) where all other STG variants have a recoil direction stat of 0.3

I believe that controls the randomness of the recoil direction and why I always found it less enjoyable to shoot
