the issue is the solothruns insane weight 110lbs empty 140lbs with magazine the guns a monster and is as long as you are tall theres likley a more compact soloution rather than making another solothurn you can magicly use normaly

then why is it possible and allowed in game for the type97 ATR which is heavier than the solothurns without any restrictions?

older weapon techincly lighter and japan kinda needs the help

true japan needs a help but germany’s TT ATR is so bad its useless unless it can one tap the tracks plus the rate of fire is very depressing

I would add optics to this ATR.

PTRS-41 has a little bit more weight then Solothurn and no restrictions

japanese AT-gun has more then double of the weight and no restrictions

So weight alone can’t be the reason. Specially when Japanese soldiers are Popeye xD

Or we just move Sturmpistole to BR1 - together with other weaker AT launchers like Piat.

AT rifles are terrible and would only be useful against a couple of BR1 tanks that are never used.

Yes

Very doubtful
The only drawback of the piata is its erratic damage, but it’s better than a Bazooka.

I wouldn’t mind moving the bazooka to 1 br.
Like the Japanese Type 5 grenade launcher .

the reason people use ATR because it can be used as a alternative AA rifle. with ATR we can disable tanks and also shot down low flying planes.

Only automatic ones, unless you are a really good shot - or the pilots flies stupidly low and in a straight line.

ATR They are good because they destroy APC quickly, Because they have damage in numbers, destroying the APC’s health bar

this is why i Love a Semi-Auto ATR than A AT Launcher

It’s nerfed in game

Maybe the Type 97 needs mobillity restrictions!

What do you mean?

It’s weight is incorrect in game irl the solothurn while empty weighs 110 pounds jumping to 140 when loaded with a magazine

That would be fair if they add in a non restricted smaller at rifle but forcing an entire nation to deal with prone/bipod wouldn’t be great especially one at a disadvantage such as Japan

Well, then its about 41kg when it’s loaded - still 11kg less then Type 97 AT rifle ^^
