Ability to Carry and Place Ammo Boxes

Hi everyone , I would like to suggest adding the ability for players to carry ammo boxes and place them wherever they want on the map. Currently, players often rely on engineers to resupply teammates or support a position.

With this feature:

  • It would be easier to hold a position without constantly needing an engineer nearby.
  • Players could resupply teammates and support their squad more strategically.* It would add more flexibility and autonomy to gameplay, allowing squads to stay mobile and effective.

I believe this idea could improve the overall gameplay experience and make battles more dynamic and tactical.
I would also like to suggest adding the MG “support” that stabilizes machine guns. It could be carried on the backs of MG gunners, just like the ammo boxes, making it easier to deploy heavy weapons effectively.

These features would add more flexibility and strategic options, keeping squads mobile and battles more

I am voting yes because, probably like a medic, to implement this well u would actually need a separate class to perform such an important role. I do support the idea of a smaller ammo box to be carried.

This would probably also benefit from 2 suggestions, as ammo boxes and a MG nest / support are two different things, the latter of which I do not support as it would be hard to balance

thx for the suggestion, I always appreciate the effort!!

Thank you for your time and your very interesting answers !

It’s best to separate the two suggestions. Keeps it neat and tidy.

But yeah, I can get behind this idea.

Perhaps we lack not only medics on the battlefield, but also ammunition resupply personnel to transport ammunition. Therefore, separating ammunition boxes from the engineer’s building inventory and making them a separate item to carry would allow for ammunition replenishment anytime, anywhere, just like medics treating their comrades.
