A ZH 29 with the ZB26's 20 round magazine - a BR4 event rifle

My man is arguing about the weapon being too OP, forgetting the US have this monster, even one BR lower, than what is being considered for the ZH-29.

And btw, all the event weapon variants with larger mag have increased reload time (SVT-40 has 2.5 / SVT-40 with drum has 3.3 sec) so I doubt the 2.1 sec reload on ZH-29 would be kept the same.

Additionally, the Winchester can fight BR II, unlike the ZH-29 which is kept in-between BR III to V, where semis are common. Plus not like it would be usual weapon, an event weapon limited to 1 - 4 is fine and won’t cause any problems.

Springfield M1903 vs M1 carbine? Nah.
Its true that there are more rifles on BR1 and BR2 thus the gap between the best BR1 rifle and the worst BR2 rifle is small or even non-existent, but on average the improvement of bolties is far greater than just reload time.

i said that in my first post i have been using the zh29 20 round 3 second reload for a while, keep up
the svt40 is 2.5 seconds and even the g43 is 2.3

m1903 22 damage
m1 carbine 7 damage
garand 12.7
zh29 13.2
yep so now were just talking to hear ourselves speak

ofc you will ignore everything but damage.
ehh fine make your stupid comparison with Springfield M1903 and SMLE mk.IV in that case.

So your issue is ZH-29 having a better reload yet performing the same as it’s counterparts.

Sounds interesting, but not much of an issue when you consider the complete roster of weapons from each faction and realise that - Soviets just play SMGs so they don’t care for semis anyway and they heavily outperform GE in that regard.
US can use Bars all the way to BR V and be just fine, given they perform better than Garands, and due to them lacking in BR IV weaponry. (The M1918A2 has a 2.3 sec reload with a 20 round mag at BR III, so utilizing it as your go-to weapon would leave you outperforming semis easily, even at medium range and especially at CQC.

wow germany now has sprinfield m1903 or the smle 4
the gewehr 33/40 says 3 seconds but the kar98k says 3.7 but both are stripper clip fed, i think some of the stats are just made up or use partial reload using single bullets as the time
so there is a difference between the best and worst br 1 and 2 rifles but again not as bad as say between the garand and zh29

and that would work if bars were used by riflemen and no machine gunners
if germany did not have a 75 round br4 and a 100 round br5 tech tree weapons, you know rifleman limited to 3 per squad in the tech tree

You can deck up to 3 MG squads, all with 4 Bars each and still have 1 or 2 engineers in them. At BR IV you already have access to 3 MG (Vickers, BAR, Johnson unlocks) squads in your roster. Sure you lose the AT and AA buildings, but you also gain a firepower advantage over your enemy counterparts and can build the M2.

3 such squads are enough for a proper cycle in-between them without having to spawn a different one. So you can just play Bar all the way, only occasionally having to use the Garand if your MGs die.

If Bars were used by riflemen, you might as well allow STGs or PPsh-41s on riflemen too at that point. You have the means to get a good squad roster with weapons, just have to put in the effort.

Additionally what makes the difference is that by staying at BR III by utilizing the BAR/Garand would leave you in the BR II - IV bracket, giving you a chance to stomp the lower BR while holding your own against BR IV ,all that, while encountering BR V would be unusual. The ZH-29 is BR IV so it either goes to BR III where it isn’t that much game changing and at BR V it is straight up worse than that BRs weaponry.

Well I’m not gonna teach him how to read, because if he can’t even read the title then what am I supposed to do
