M38) - further development of Estonian submachine guns
Like almost everything in Europe it will go to the Germans and the Axis.
easily a BR3 SMG with 700 BPM and a 40 round magazine this weapon would make a great event, bp or premium weapon but knowing the wb they would ask for tech tree. Given the range of BMP and magazine size it could easily fit in every br from 2 to 4.
i didnt mean i want it to i meant every wheeraboo will claim it,
in order to be in the game it has to go to
us/uk
axis
ussr or
japan
so equally it could go to ussr
but we dont have any indipedent faction like the mercs in world of tank
Thank you. And that i also find a little bit strange in your suggestion… You suggest this SMG for difrent BR with difrent rate of fire. Brake is the part of the weapon, you cant just delete them. It can swithc from different fire mode free and any time, something like some of Namby SMGs. Its kinda make no sense, give it one special rate of fire for one special BR. Personally my opinion - 40 round, switheable rate of fire (semi-auto/700/900) and 4 BR for USSR. Anyway, your suggestion - your choises.
I dont want to butt in, but I made a suggestion on the gun.
I had to dig quite deep for this information as the only reliable source is the Laidoneri muuseumi aastaraamat 2002 yearbook on the Estonian War Museum´s website.
If an Arsenal M38 still exists today, it’s somewhere in Russia, lost in the only thing greater than the steppes, the vast Russian bureaucracy. Since the original mass produced (for Estonian standards at least) Arsenal M23 was suggested for USSR in the same suggestion, I figured M38 should belong to USSR too at that point.
Just to point out, Estonia sold M23s to its police (fate unknown)
to Spanish republicans in the Spanish civil war (many survived, ended up with collectors)
to Latvia (fell to Red Army in 1940)
ah no my idea is not a um variable smg but a choice
do you want a lower rate of fire 700 and 40 round magazine
or do you want a higher rate of fire and a smaller magazine 30 rounds
i am trying to avoid br4 as many call br4 a myth to excuse the fact the allies us/uk still lack many critical br4 weapons
a real br4 rifle no the gl garand is not a br4 rifle like the zh29 and g43 are
a proper br4 mg no the johnson and prone mg are not good enough
we just barley got a 50 round smg at br4 to match the kiraly 39m
the allies also need a br4 sniper to match the 43 sniper
i agree ussr should have it but i always like to give a choice unless that choice would just be silly like giving the uk thus the allies the type 30 rifle which would be possible since they bought some in ww1 but would feel silly in the game.
